on my own

[on my own]

[verse 1]
i don't know what i'm looking for,
i don't know what to say
this empty bed, it brings me down
i'm weaker by the day
but i like the way it hurts me,
i like the way you care
it's worth it in the end, you say
give up, i wouldn't dare

[hook 1]
'cause when you're here
it's just you and me
but when you're gone
all that's left is the memory

[chorus]
i'm lost without you
the home i can run to
and i forget what this is all about
when you hang up the phone
i feel so alone
i'll just have to figure this out
on my own

[verse 2]
i miss you, your smile, and your voice
the touch of your hair
i lie awake late at night and i
just wish you were there
but i like the way i want you,
i like the way i lie
for when the day is done, i know
i'll turn away and cry

[hook 2]
'cause when you're here
i know it was meant to be
but when you're gone
our love is a mystery

[chorus]

[hook 3/bridge]
'cause when you're here
i'm flying, i'm free
but when you're gone
that's when i truly see

[chorus] x2

i'll just have to figure this out
on my own

Hey I think you kept the flow of this going really well, the song seems good and would be an awsome song to rap.

Hola! These lyrics had a very nice flow to them and the rhyme scheme was solid the whole way through. Just try to punctuate and capitalize in the correct places for them to be easier to read/understand. It's pretty strong, with a clear message. Good job!

Well I don't usually look at lyrics just because you can't hear them being played out, and melody and style can really impact the impression that your song has. I like it a lot, or at least I think I do depending on how I think it'd sound, but I want to know what genre it is...rock, pop, country? Just curious because it would help me to get more of your take on the song. But anyway, I do like it.
Keep writing,
