Jerome

Jerome and I were walking hand and hand
Four feet marching
Two heads bobbing

Jerome insisted we walk through the field
A million stalks swaying
High above our heads

Hand and hand we ventured into the depths of the field
Four arms scraped
By husks, one by one

In the center of the field, all was quiet
Infinite sky open
Fixed sun glaring

I turned to look at my Jerome
Two lips parting
One mouth smiling
Two laughs breaking
The single silence of our surround

No one heard our laughs that day
Muffled by the endless sea
But held there safe in the perpetuity
Of the husks, in our hands, the sky, the sun-
The memories of two bobbing heads

Adventuring through a field

Jerome and I were walking hand-in-hand

This is a mistake you have recurring throughout the poem, and it really distracted me. I highly suggest you fix it. The hyphens are optional (I just happen to like hyphens).

By husks, one by one

You had such a lovely flow... until this line. I suggest either nixing the "one by one" or elaborating upon how the husks scrape their arms one by one.

The single silence of our surround

Again, flow.

But held there safe in the perpetuity
Of the husks, in our hands, the sky, the sun-

"Perpetuity" comes out of nowhere and broke the flow of not only the rhythm, but also the language. Up until now, you've used common terms, then suddenly here is uncommon "perpetuity". Very jarring. I suggest revising to:

But held there safe perpetually
In the husks, in our hands, the sky, the sun--

Not only does it sound more natural, but you also get the added repetition (and thus reinforcement) of "in x", which I think works better than what you currently have.

That said, I enjoyed reading this poem. It wasn't particularly original, but I liked the style, and the lack of punctuation really enhanced this piece. The subject was also handled pretty well. Kudos.

Hiya maryletsflyaway. I gotta say: I liked it.
The imagery is good and I love the flow.
It didn't feel forced at all.
I would try and look for some puncuation errors but I'm not that good with the sort....
Sorry I can't be very helpful...
Actually, it's a good thing I can't find anything wrong with it! I hope I can see more from you.
