Music Room

Music Room

Noises echoed from the music room,
Lullabies and hymns,
Trickle out of instruments
The brass and woodwind work together,
In perfect harmony
Bursts of music, flipping of sheets create peace,
Sweet notes and giggles fill the room,
The percussion chimes in,
The strings follow
Eyes twinkling, following the page,
Keeping time

The climax comes, symbols crash,
Hearts race
Goosebumps form on the arms and necks of the players
They feel incredible,
Fearless,
And happy
It comes to an end, the closing draws near,
They let out a sigh, it's finished
Over
Instruments down, they wish it could be
Forever

Thank you! :)

I'm happy you wrote about music. I am a trumpet player, so I can definitely relate. I love the part leading up to the climax. Good job.

This is my favorite part of the poem. I think you captured the feeling of what it was like to be in a music room perfectly. Your poem also has good rhythm too.You should be proud of yourself. Fiction

I really like this there isn't much bad that I could say about this. It is really descriptive, and it has a nice smooth flow. I really like this.
