Words like Music
Hearing music is inspiring,
Diversity of notes that blend.
All who listen are admiring,
Captivated until the end.
Though each individual part
Is beautiful on its own,
Listen to the whole work of art,
Magic mended from parts alone.
Through music you can be restored.
To listen, you must tune your ears.
Discover beauty in a chord.
Observe as sorrow disappears.
For all that music means to me,
These memories I will cherish.
Playing the music sets me free;
Notes within me never perish.
In years to come, as life moves on,
Music, I will play no longer.
Dancing will be all long gone.
Only writing will get stronger.
It is, in fact my destiny
To write, and I won’t lose it.
I only hope that as I write
My words play out like music.

Good job. I liked it a lot. I felt that you conveyed your point clearly even before you actually stated it in the last two stanzas. Your diction was very nice, very fluid. It was fabulous, keep writing - as I am sure you are.
