Okay, this piece is purely religious. Let me review, line by line...

"Good Mothers Give Their Children Hope"

Very true... And I like that you split that wonderful HOPE into more.

"H - Heaven is sought first in hard times: not last."

Yes, this should be the case for everyone; yet every one forgets the one thing that is the only sanctuary for them in hard times... I pity them... ( No grammatical errors!)

"O - Opportunities are sought to teach children to trust God/"

This line is sort of confusing to me; is this really the case? Aren't opportunities sought to gain experience? Of course, opportunities are the heavenly gift of God...

"O - Opportunities are sought to teach children to trust God."

That / at the end was out of place, I have gone ahead and corrected that for you.

"P - Prayer and hope go hand in hand. Despair may put us down, but
Hope helps us up is the message she gives."

She? Who is this she? The Mother? (That was the first question that came to mind)

And the structure feels out of sorts...

"P - Prayer and hope go hand in hand. Despair may put us down, but
'Hope helps us up' is the message she gives."

Is that what you were looking for?

"E - Expectant faith honors God, God honors expectant faith is taught."

This one is confusing to me. The first sentence is understandable...in a way,...if you look at it from the right angle...

I'm also guessing you meant to stick in some quotation marks along the way but never got around to it. Probably why that last one looks so WEIRD...

"E - Expectant faith honors God, 'God honors expectant faith' is taught."

This one sounds very repetitive so, why not:

"E - Expectant faith honors the Lord; 'God honors expectant faith' is taught."

Sounds better right?

I think this sent a clear enough message but you really need to work on the length. People probably wouldn't be interested in an extremely short piece like this...
