Vampire Super Models

I woke up in the morning groggy and tired. I didn't get much sleep. Vanessa and I went to some concert to celebrate the interview today. I had never heard of the band that played, but I enjoyed it anyway. It has been three days since I made the appointment with Christopher's rude secretary and now I had exactly five and a half hours to get ready.

I rolled out of bed and situated my Nightmare Before Christmas pajamas. ( I was a pajama fiend. I probably had fifty pairs.) Monstie meowed perkily at me. I groaned a good morning to her in response.

Then I stumbled into my kitchen and turned my hello kitty coffee maker on. I reached up and opened a cupboard looking for breakfast. I grabbed a pack of blue berry mini-muffins. I usually don't eat breakfast but I figured this was a special occasion. I took my mini-muffins into the living room. My living room was black and ruby red. I plopped onto my bright red leather couch and almost bounced Monstie off. She made this mean little sniffing noise at me, but crawled into my lap anyway. I laughed at her and picked the remote up off the coffee table.

I turned the TV over to Nickelodeon where Yo Gabba Gabba was still on. I love little kid cartoons. I'm not sure why, they just entertain me more than other shows. "Grown-up" shows I guess you could say. Sometimes Vanessa makes fun of me for it because she watches shows like House and Desperate House Wives. I can get pretty immature. I hurried into the kitchen to get my coffee after the show was over.

While I was pouring it into my favorite big pink mug I noticed my cell phone was flashing. I was madly in love with my cell phone. I slid it open and read the text from Vanessa. It said, "Good luck Roxy! I know you'll do smashing! Lots of Love, Vanessa."

"How sweet" I said out loud while sending a quick thanks back to her.

I took the coffee I just poured back into the living room but didn't drink any. I was just to nervous. This will be the most important interview I'll ever get and I can't blow it. I sat very still for a moment just staring at my skinny legs when I realized, I didn't have anything to wear! I had been putting it off because I really had no idea what they wanted, but now I'm out of time! I leaped off my couch and rushed to my walk-in closet. I threw clothes around frantically for a while.

Then a quiet voice in my head suggested I should just be myself. I was being my normal self when I first met Christopher and he seemed to like me. I shouldn't change myself encase I end up disappointing him.

I took a deep, relaxing breath and picked up my favorite denim skinny jeans. Then I found my rainbow stud belt and checkerboard vans.

"Good, good." I thought "There's my bottoms, now I need a good top. I don't want to show up in a T'shirt." I then remembered that Vanessa had let me borrow her black V-Neck sweater. I gave a little yelp of joy. It was perfect and since V's boobs were a bit smaller than mine it was snug in all the right places. I grabbed the sweater and all my other clothing items and spread them out on my bed. This is going to be great!
