I say I feel “numb” but what does that mean?
How could I feel “numb” if I feel ugly emotions rising from the pit of my stomach, threatening to spill out of my eyes as tears?
Perhaps I don’t feel exactly “numb”...but what other word could I use to describe it?
I type “synonyms for numb” in the Google search bar.

Numb
The word stares back at me with such intensity, I feel ...nothing. I feel dead inside, according to Google. I feel insensible, according to Google. I feel senseless, according to Google.
None of these search results yield any satisfaction for me (perhaps it’s the numbness).
Maybe I should stop feeling my brand of “numb”--because apparently, it’s not common enough to be considered the feeling of “numb”.
Maybe the feelings are a combination of jealousy, emptiness, and ideation. Rotating in that order as the film of my life up until now plays constantly in my brain.

Hey legendarycomputerpoetry!! I'm Anne and here to review your work.
You've touched a touching topic here. What is numb? What is emptiness? I remember one time someone had asked me a question that how can you feel 'numb' , when you're 'feeling' something, because numb means( according to google), deprived of feeling.
Questionable indeed
MESSAGE
The message was great. The exploration of what numb is was relatable. Also, the curiosity to know exactly what you feel was well worded. If this is based on your personal experience, I wish things are better for you.
LANGUAGE
The language was amazing too, I esp. loved the use of numbers in the poetry.
It just gave it such a creative look. Also the outline of the stanzas was a little different, in a good way of course.
Overall, your poem was a good read.
Keep writing.
Heya, Rubes here with a review!
WWW: I am in love...I couldn't have described it much better than you did. You feel nothing but don't feel 'numb' exactly. You feel all these negative emotions rise until your face has mascara smudges all over it...(very relatable). I like the concept of Google too. Everyone believes it to have the answer to almost anything discovered except...we know our emotions more than some search engine. You demonstrate it wonderfully in the lines
"...I feel senseless according to Google"
I really loved this line in particular. The mind set of 'google is always correct' when we know our minds the most out of everyone... - our minds get very confusing with the ideas and emotions we feel xd.
EBI: I think there could be a bit more structure. Maybe clearer stanzas? Or different sized lines in the poem to add a bit more body to it. Apart from that, excellent work!
Stay safe and def carry on writing,
Love Rubes
Hey, I'm here to review!!

First off I am in love with this poem.
Second, I honestly don't feel I really have any criticisms. I, as a writer love to get feedback on improvements I could make, but honestly, I just wanted to say this is insanely relatable and is amazingly written. I love how you took something as a one-word google search and use it to describe something so emotional.
Since I already did the praise part (a bit prematurely) I guess I'll end this here. Sorry, this wasn't very helpful.
Hey! FlamingPhoenix here to review your work! I also want to say welcome to YWS, hope you enjoy your time here!
And the sentence lengths through the poem pretty much stay the same. So I have found for me if they aren't jumping from short to long all the time the flow remains nice and consistent.
Okay with that being said lets begin!
I really like this poem and how you start it off, it's not rushed and flows really nicely.
I would also like to say your choice of words were really nice, not to easy to understand but not to complicated either, its a very nice balance.
I really love this sentience there is something about it that just speaks volumes about what your trying to say. It really touched me!
This is a really relatable poem and saying you feel numb when your not yourself really is the best way to bring it a cross.
Well that's all from me! I really enjoyed reading this and can't wait for you to post more on YWS! You have a real talent and should feel very proud!
Have a great day or night and post again soon.

Very thoughtful.
I find this really relatable.
the fear of yourself.
the need or rather Want to diagnose yourself so not to trouble some, Trained professional.
and the subtle hint of depending on the internet(a machine a heartless robot!) to tell you how you are.
WONDERFUL.
A TRULY MODERN STRUGGLE.
