Myself And Time

Open doors: shattered windows,
Careless whispers fill the pillars.
Here we are together,
with each other thats all we need.

Find yourself,
take your time.
Love yourself,
I'll be fine.

Way out across the field,
I hear someone cry out.
I wonder who it is and why.
Could it be someone who needs....

Find yourself,
take your time.
Love yourself,
I'll be fine.

Never having to worry,
about what they'll say,
never have to remember bad days.
All the sorrow I had is gone,
I found myself...in your arms.

And I'll find myself,
I'll take my time,
I'll love myself,
I'll be fine if I just believe in myself and time.

I'll break away,
far away high above air and space,
you won't miss me I swear.
'Cause you'll be here....and I'll be there.

Break away,
take your time,
I wish the best, you'll be fine.
Fill my heart with joy.
I'll be fine....

With myself and time.

Hey there! This was very good. I really enjoyed reading this, there was one point in the poem where, it wasn't bad, but it seemed awkward,

Never having to worry,
about what they'll say,
never have to remember bad days.
All the sorrow I had is gone,
I found myself...in your arms.

The words in red rhyme, and that creates some form of "rhythm" when I read it, and it didn't fit with the poems overall flow. So it was awkward to read. Other than that I really liked this! Keep it up!

I loved this. It defines emotions most people want to feel. I really like this!

I was weeping as much for him as her; we do sometimes pity creatures that have none of the feeling either for themselves or others.
