Ode to Frozen Moments
Tiny minds, and tiny hearts
hugging each other with no worry in the world.
This was my favorite clip
When we twirled, and twirled
round and round.
With my first lei around my neck
and my head held high.
My mom was a wreck
tears pouring out of her eyes.
it was little Kayla’s graduation
so much love and so much pride.
Ode to my frozen moments
they remind me of my innocence.
Now I am bigger, high school is coming to an end
it was the best picture I have taken
the future is where I ascend
My nerves are shaken
How could this be?
I feel like I was just in kindergarten
I was just little me.
I never wanted to grow up so fast
It feels like a million seconds have past
Please just slow it down
Ode to frozen moments,
they remind me to treasure time, as it goes by fast.
This is my favorite snapshot one of all.
He is in his uniform
so proud, and standing so tall.
My heart is racing, but with one of his hugs it became warm.
We’re smiling more than ever before,
He is holding me tight
Everything feels just right
Even though it did get hard towards the end
The hardships were made up during that weekend.
Now, this moment reminds me of nothing but glee.
Ode to my frozen moments,
they remind me of the person who loves me for me.
This one hasn’t quite happened yet,
but it keeps me up all night.
Thinking about it breaks me into a sweat,
it is a moment that makes me feel of fright.
But this is the moment that I will move forward,
I thought it would never happen this fast.
I hope my body does not fall downward,
in front of my whole class.
After this moment, I will do nothing but succeed.
Ode to Frozen Moments,
It keeps me thinking of what future I have in front of me.

Hi
I'm here to give you a review!
I have to say Wow this poem is incredible, I absolutely love it! I think I rank this piece in my top 10 list.
First I want to talk about theme of time and continuity. You did a great job in getting this theme across, the rhyme really helps the poem flow easily. The diction you used was beautiful it really brought out the movement and concept of time and also described the feelings evoked in the reader brilliantly.
I really love the repetition of 'Ode to Frozen Moments' it gave enough emphases to the theme itself and also signified a change in time. What really got to me is that the second time you used it, you wrote 'Ode to my frozen moments' the addition of the word 'my' really hooked me in as it made the persona very clear and also it gave more importance to the following lines.
The change in tone really is amazing, you brought out the fact that time goes by so fast in a very original way. You created very beautiful images that helped my imagine all that was being said and it really let me empathize with this poem.
Beautiful and amazing piece, a big congratulations. I hope you continue writing such wonderful poems.

This Poem made me feel the sad, but joy filled emotions. Time does go by to fast is the sad truth. Writing a long poem with such a magnificent flow, with no hick-ups in the melody of the reader.
You as the author should be more than proud of what you have done here. This is a magnificent piece of writing. You should be more than enthused by such a well done job you have accomplished.
This writing is worthy of sharing. I enjoyed reading this a lot.
