Rhythm and I

I suck at rhythm.
I think it wants me to die.
Feeling: mutual.

Very nice. A haiku, I believe?
I like your style. This is an amusing poem with good feel, I like the shortness and crispness of it all. Good work here, Katie.

I liked this poem, very short and to the point. And there weren't any technical issues that I could see either. Or any problems creativity and idea wise. But I think what I really liked about this poem was its unique format:
Statement-Pondering-Statistic
I find that this gives the poem a unique mood of indifference, with a faint shadow that suggests there's something more to the piece than the words.
Overall a very good poem.
My rating: 5 *s

Keep it up!

The bird that would soar above the level plain of tradition and prejudice must have strong wings. It is a sad spectacle to see the weaklings bruised, exhausted, fluttering back to earth.
