"Dear Cloud" Poem

by kathy45662

I wrote this poem from the perspective of Tifa. It's supposed to take place after Final Fantasy 7 and the movie that took place 2 years after the events in the video game. Anyone who has played FF7 can relate. I'm not sure where to post it. It's fan fiction poem, but sort of romantic. Even if you don't know the story line, please critique the poem if possible! Thanks!

Dear Cloud

Cloud, you’re trying to hide,
Your feelings are kept inside.
Please tell me how you feel,
I want to know what I think is real.

How can you have nothing to say?
I don’t want you to go away.
And how can you be so quiet?
I know inside there’s a riot.

Please come back to me,
You don’t have to always flee.
Tell me your troubles,
You don’t want them to double.

Every time you go away,
It’s that much more I pray.
I pray that you’ll be safe,
And not caught up in a strafe.

Cloud please do not hide.
I have feelings for you inside.
I want to tell you how I feel,
Because I know what I have is real.

so many things I want you to say,
please return; I miss you more each day.
When you’re quiet I want to cry,
Share with me your feelinds, at least try.

Cloud I miss you and I love you,
This much I know is true.
Please come home to me,
Together we can be free.

Love Tifa

I haven't seen nor heard of this "Final Fantasy" thing you were talking about, but I still loved the poem! You stretched the rhyming a bit with

Tell me your troubles, You don’t want them to double.
, but other than that, I didn't notice anything. Great job! :)
