I know "How you doing" is grammatically incorrect but I feel like that's just how I have to say it.

It’d be inevitable that we’d be connected forever
No it’s not that I’m still in love with you
I’m still in love with the idea of you

But when you left, I feel like I haven’t grown since
No not literally but in the philosophical sense
Throughout the seasons I remained the same
Other girls didn’t have the rain
To nurture me and to help me grow
Now I know you’re lying when you say you have to go
I’m just making you feel awkward and you don’t wanna stay

The one person I’ve always shied away from for help since we were through
Is the one person I need the most, that’s right, you.
To be honest I don’t know how you can help me or what you need to do

This is AMAZING! it actually made me feel really bad, like I could actually feel the emotions you portrayed. I love it, really.
You rarely ever see a guy's point of view in this situation, especially in poetry. So it really made me think about what guys think after a break up (or something like that).
Also, how you doing is also an age-old pick up line which made me lawl.
