Dramatic poetry

I just wrote these 2 poems please tell me what you think.

1. Hunger, hunger everywhere, the whole world is in despair. Because even though the the smells of food fill the air, their is not even a peice to spare.

2. Clouds high in the sky will never die. Because even though at night they hide, the next day we will again see them flying high.

Yeah those are good topics, you really should build on them if you had the time. Yes sometimes in America we forget that there are people going hungry every day, even though there is so much food.

Interesting. Kind of reminds me of a "Practices and Philosophies" excerpt tagged at the end of a book of Oscar Wilde essays. Both of these poems have great topics, and they could easily be built on. As a suggestion, you might want to consider staying away from the rhyming scheme for such short pieces. The purpose of rhyme has to do with the rhythm of the poetry. However, with pieces so short, it is difficult to grasp that in such a short period of time. Overall, you have yourself a really good start!
