Have you ever felt alone?
When everyone was around you?
Have you ever been sad,
and found you couldn't cry?
Have you ever tried to love,
without asking yourself if you should?
Because I have.

I agree with Dragonlady on this one. This is a good start, but you should go deeper. Give us more descriptions with which we can make the emotions really awaken in us, because, ultimately, that's what poetry is about. Don't just tell us that it's devastating, show us how devastating it is.
Don't get me wrong though, I liked this piece because, even though it's short, it conveys a good idea which is well presented. Just go deeper into the emotions. ^^

This is short, but it's... okay. Is this your first time writing poetry? It's not a bad start, but if it's not you must be better than this. I guess what i like about this is that it is so short and easy to read, and the content is good, although i do think you could expand on it.
