E - Everyone

In poetry

PreviousNext

Maybe death is the only way out of this mess,

People say God will bless.

But where is this God you talk about,

In the midst of my worry and doubt.

I don’t wish to breathe anymore,

My heart has never felt so sore.

When I am gone, don’t waste your tears,

I could no longer face my fears.

I see a razor and I cry,

All I can think is “Why?”

I just need a hug

Yet everyone seems so smug.

I say I’m depressed and people ask why,

All I want is to say goodbye.

But I’m too weak,

I can’t even think!

I wish to turn this around,

So I could feel safe and sound.

I just want a way out,

It feels as if my body is experiencing a drought.

Maybe I just need is love,

The kind that is as pure as a dove.

They say they care,

I’ve never seen a lie so bare.

Maybe if I did die,

No one would have a reason to lie.

This has a very powerful emotional feeling behind the words, I myself suffer depression very badly at times and can truly relate to those words. The words seem to flow so well throughout this piece as if just following your thought pattern as it came. It reminds those of us who are suffering we are not alone. Thank you for sharing this piece.

Thanks for sharing this expression of intense desperation. The poem caused me to have great concern for you welfare, especially because of your age which makes you vulnerable. So to me the poem's formatting is of secondary importance although I will give a few suggestions.

Life involves more pain for some of us than for others-that is a bitter fat that many of us come to realize and which might sometimes cause us to feel as you feel. As a teenager, of course, your choices to solve any problem are limited by being under parental custody.*n fact, the parents themselves are often the cause of the problem which makes matters worse and might make a solution seem out of reach. However, please keep well in mind that there are laws established to protect children from parental abuse. Agencies are established to deal with such things and these agencies take immediate action to protect the child or adolescent from harm by removing him or her from abusive treatment,. Sometimes the child or adolescent is provided with foster parents who are responsible and loving. So you are not alone in your concern for your own welfare but have others ion powerful positions of authority who would immediately intervene to help you if you go to them for help, If indeed your problem falls into that category I would urge you to avail yourself of such help.

As for people wanting another person to commit suicide? Life has taught me that the best way to see such persons is by just saying

"Screw them!"

suggestion:

In the midst of my worry and doubt[?]

Maybe death is the only way out of this mess[.]

I don’t wish to breathe anymore[.]

Hey,
Thank you for sharing this with us. It honestly made me cry because I feel the same way all the time. Sometimes I just wish it would all go away. But you did a good job conveying the messages. I give you bonus points for all the obvious feeling that went into this. I really, really appreciate you pouring out your heart to us. That takes guts.
And just so you know, you aren't alone. So don't end your life. If you need someone to take to, I'm here :).
Thanks for sharing,
Hope

thank you Hope. the same goes for you with talking to some one.
