freedom chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

A good day for my Dad and me. Also first day at school, And later on the school bus will be there. I need a bath and prepare for school so I won't be late, so I better hurry now, or else, someone will come up here in my bedroom and get yelled at me. My father, George McCartney, he is thoughtful and we have owned a pet shop here in Pennsville new jersey. Everybody here is nice. I had finished bathing, and I will go down and eat, I saw my father who is cooking our food and I helped him to prepare, I put the plates on the table and the glasses. After I prepare the plates I talked to my dad and I said "dad, where will you celebrate my debut?" He looked at me and said "honey, your birthday is still so far and I promise you that your birthday will happen, okay so don't worry about that" then he kissed my forehead. I just smiled and said "hey, you'll be late at the shop". While we are eating the food, the telephone rang and my father stood to answer the call and it was my grandmother from Clayton after they talk dad went back and eat and he said that my grandmother's farm has burned so we are going there and I said "oh! Dad wait now? Oh! You know I can't it's the first day of school and we are going to Clayton?" and my dad replied "hey sweetie I know, it's your first day of school and besides were not going today."

Then the bus is there and I stood up and said goodbye to my father and I said " Dad I should go, the bus might leave me so, I should go." and I kissed His cheek and then he said "take care honey and you Missy your going home early okay?, is that clear?" and I replied "yes captain" I went out and I saw my friend waiting at the outside of the house. And they said "Steph hurry we are gonna be late at the school" and I said "fine" and I hopped at the bus and find a vacant seat , there goes the geeks, the bullies and he means, and the annoying. I can't find a seat so I just sit at the back I never thought that I will see the cutest guy I met. And I asked him "excuse me, can I have a seat?" and He replied "sure" and I am nervously sit beside him. And there our school really pretty the Pennsville Memorial High School, when we got there people runs to see again our school, and me and my friends we walk and went around the school, many things have change just like the drifting clouds. It's so good also because my teachers have not changed, they still are the teachers who taught me the good things. I was walking in the hallway of the school and I was looking at the bulletin board, suddenly I was hit by someone because he was running, I never noticed him, and he helped me up when I saw him he is not white nor black it is like his skin tone is fine, his eye Color is Hazel. when I saw his face I was shocked because he was Zandie, Crizandie Clooney the one who I sit beside at the bus earlier, and he said to me "hey. Stephanie you okay?" and I quickly said "yeah, yeah, I'm alright" then I smiled. Suddenly, bell of the school rings and he asked me what subject I'm going to and I said "Geo", he smiled and said "shall we?" at first, I didn't know what he just said and when he said "wow, didn't expect first day of school, my first subject, my favorite, Geography" and there I didn't expect it that we are in the same class. when we are in the classroom, he saw his friends the I look at him and They are doing Hi-5 and looked for a vacant seat and I saw a chair at the corner, and when I sat at the chair Zandie's one friends is staring at me and I also looked back at him, he smiled at me and I smiled too, and suddenly our teacher came, and I was glad because he is my favorite teacher and he said to us “everybody sit down please” and we sit. And he begin discussing, then suddenly he saw me and he said “Stephanie your here , and what are you doing at the back, come here at the front!” and I stood up and went at the front and sit. After hours, it’s time to go home my friends are so loudly and they are shouting and said” mall ,mall ,mall ,mall” and I said “hold up, I’m not going with you guys.”

And Jesse said” hey hold also missy you are not going with us? You can’t do that”

“yes I can” I replied

“wait no!”

“guys please, I just can’t go with you now, maybe some other day”

“is everything fine?”

“no”

“what happened?”

“my grandmother’s farm has burned”

“gosh, is your grandmother died?”

“no, I don’t know, so I have to go home early”

“yeah, you should, go now”

“thanks guys” then I hugged them, and walk through, then after while I saw Zandie he was leaning on his car, then he saw me and he said “ hey, can I talk you for a while?” and I said “okay”

Then I went to him and he said “I heard your grandmother’s farm burned?”

“yes, that’s why I didn’t go with my friends”

“hey!”

“yes?”

“hopped in” then I go to his car and we drove, when we got to my house, he said goodbye to me and so I do then he left, and I almost forgot to say thanks for the drive.
