The Hound

    “Move it!!The enemy not gonna give us any chance to retaliate.All we can do now is retreat.”the scream came from a man clad in black long coat with black undergarment.his face are covered with black mask in one of those movies when people in apocalyptic world.This is because the area they are in are highly poisonous and also dangerous.

     “What the hell happen Scorpion?These wasn’t in the plan at all.Who are these people...They are no ordinary soldiers.They could keep up with us unlike the other soldier.”a younger man still clad in the same oufit as the previous man but he got a smaller figure and a softer voice.He said that in a voice that almost pissed off but anxious at the same time.

    “Don’t know Hawk..the mission that we accept is to destroy the reactor and the information on the disc that one of the researcher have.That’s all there is.They agency didn’t say anything about soldier or mercenary is with them.”

    “There got to be something the agency kept secret from us.”Hawk answer it  with a disgruntled voice.

    “Watch out.Four of them are coming from above.Two are equip with standard M-16 and another two is melee type with standard military sword.Prepare.”The only girl in the group open her mouth while keep running .She took out two handgun from the hip and started to take a posture to shoot at incoming enemies from above.She focused her aimed and steady her breathing and then....

    Two figure are visible from where the four people group are standing.They are runnning while holfding an assault rifle they tried to make them lose focused so that the other 2 person wileding sword could close in and finish them off.Both of the hold the assault rifle steadily and shoot in a rapid succession.

  The bullet does not hit them but manage to scramble their formation.They started to take cover.The girl clad in black shoot at both of them while trying to find cover for herself.She suppress them while thinking of the next move.Scorpion and Hawk was unlucky because they have ran out of ammo trying to hold off the enemy back in the base.ANd now the only hope rest in her and the leader of the group.......Crow.

    “Hah..hah....this is bad..i’m almost ran out of ammo.If this keep up we’re dead meat.”she is already at her limit.Her vision started to be blurry because the lack of energy.

   “Widow...fall back...me and Hawk gonna keep them busy..we cannot afford to lose more time..more are coming this way.We’re dead if this keep up.”Scorpion equip his long sword and charged while pushing the woman called Widow back into cover.

   “Hawk.....distract the other guy!I’m gonna kill this guy to shred.”he charged with all his might.With luck as his shield to evade barrage of bullet raining on his he move swiftly to left..then right and left again to confused his opponent.The guy shooting at him are just three step away from him and is getting closer...but he is no ordinary soldier...he is trained to witstand most damage and his mind are enhanced with the drug to keep him focus at all time..because of that he is aware of the situation he is right now..he quickly changed into his army knife.Preparing to fight with the guys with the longsword infront of him...suddenly....

  *BAM* *BAM*

 The soldier body drop onto the ground like a rock.Behind the cold motionless body is man...Clad in the same outfit as the rest of the group and on his left hand are a silver handgun and on his right hand are a longsword that is stain in blood.His cloth and the mask are fully covered in blood.Even in the darkness of the night the dim moonlight shone upon this one man.The man himself can be said as the epithome of death.

    “You okay Scorpion?”

     “Y-yeah...Thanks..you came at the perfect time.How about the pursuer?”he asked/

     “Manageed to kill most of them..But more are coming...it looks like we can’t make it out of here in one piece after all.”with a nonchalant tone he said that.

     Hawk saw what happened from where he is and quickly moved to them after he finished dealing with his opponent.His opponent were a tough one but as usual.the Black Hound are no ordinary soldier and because of that they could kill off any enemies with ease.

  “Crow!!Thanks goodness you allright.I saw you kill off the two melee pursuer.I thought you were done for at the base.”hawk is relieve seeing that Crow is okay.

  Widow who is behind cover quickly beckon to all of them to come down and take cover in order to escaped the enemy sight of view.

 Three of them slide thorugh the steep land and landed right where they wanted.

  “Good to see you all in one piece.I’m gonna say this straight into all of you....we can’t escape this mess.”

     “Wh-what do you mean?”Widow word are starting to lose it’s energy as if all hope had lost.

     “Dammit Crow you can’t be serious.....What the hell going on?You must know something..”Scorpion have lost his temper.

    “Yeah..you’ve been acting all strange since the last mission.you’ve gotta know something Crow”Hawk is getting all suspicoius on Crow too.

   Without hesitation Scorpion grab Crow by the collar and push him into the wall of dirt and stone behind him.

  “Ya better fess up before imma make anew hole in your body.”Scorpion finally lose it.

   “WOULD YOU GUYS CALM THE FUCK UP!!!!!”the scream of Widow is heard throughout the forest.She screamed in desperation and also anxiety.

    “He is the only one we can count on right now...He will find a way and we will get out of this mess together...so please...stop fighting...please.....”sobbing can be heard from her.She is scared.Afraid.Terrified on thinking that this is the day she will die....She is the newest member of the Hound after all.

Everyone was quiet right now..not a word escaped from their mouth.If all ofthem could see each other face right now it will mostly be the expression of fear that they never know.Most of their mission before had never been this challenging and this time their life are on the line.

   “Listen..At the edge of the forest.....a car was prepared there....it’s not the agency but  mine.Scorpion....you in charged of the hound from now on....Take Hawk and Widow away from here.This will be our last mission together.”Crow voice are full of determination.

   “The hell ya talking about...”Scorpion was confused

    “NO.....NO.....we’re gonna make it out of here together Crow..just like always....the hound are always act as one right.”her voice is hoarse...painful.She is afraid of what will happen to them.

   “Crow you gotta be kidding..you gonna sacrifice yourself here while we turn our back on you?Like hell that’s gonna happen”Hawk is in rage of with Crow way of thinking.

    “Listen here....none of you gonna have a chance fighting with any of them.The best i can do is buy you guys some time and escape....Please  find the truth about the agency..something wrong with them and we can’t just ignore it.”Crow begging to them.

   “Just go we don’t have time...Scorpion here the key to the car.GET THE HELL OUT OFF  HERE!!THIS IS AN ORDER FROM YOUR LEADER HOUND!!!!

 All three of them are froze in fear.Crow is very terrifying eve for them.This is something that cannot be undo.The burden gonna fall on their shoulder..the death of their leader will be set in stone after the decision is make up.

    “JUST GO ALREADY..DON”T LET EVERYTHING GO IN VAIN NOW...WHERES YOUR OBLIGATION NOW HOUND!!!!!

     “Thanks for everything now Crow..”Scorpion turn his back on Crow and say

 “From now on i’m in charged...Let’s hurry up to the escape point let’s not the death of our leader be in vain.”

   “What the--you gonna leave Crow just like that Scorp?”Hawk was furious at his action.

    “The hell you talking about Hawk..This is at least we could do..”

They could hear the thunderous footstep of the incoming sioldier approaching them....Crow is standing between them...He did not look back at them because to him,..they are already dead....

Three of them run toward the end of the  forest and luckily they find the 4WD that Crow had left there.Three of them still hesitate whether to go back and help him..

   “Let’s go back guys ...we could still save him..he could still be alive...let’s go back....”Widow was pleading to go back but Hawk had hold her tight because she is reluctant to leave Crow back there.All of them know that Widow had a crush on Crow for a awhile now and i must hurt seeing your loved one die....

   “Hawk please....let me go..let me die along side him..please....LET ME GO!!!I’m begging you...please....”She crying..there’s no hint of giving up in her voice she is determined to die by Crow side. Then all of them hear it....a loud explosive sound...loud enough to cause the ground to shake...and the direction is just as they expected..it’s from where Crow was..

   “Crow...............DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!”Scorpion scream not because of anger but for his fooolishness for letting one of his comrade to die without doing anything.

    “C-crow...why..why must you always suffer all alone..Why.....”Hawk feeling dejected for what had just happened.

   “N-n-no...”she was speechless...the explosive had shattered her hope to pieces...she fell on to her knee while staring blanklessly into the sky.Everyone know that under each of their mask tear are started to pour down.For them....One of their comrade had die...the person who brougt them together as a team..the person who founded the Black Hound name...Now no longer in this world..
