Just My Mind

Should I continue writing this? I don't want to write any horror, just 'creepy' (in case that's the only reason you think I should continue it). Thanks!

The sheets twisted in my hands, cold and thin. I blinked but couldn’t tell the difference between the darkness of the room and the space under my eyelids. Air; still, empty air; it pressed against me, the only presence in the room. It suffocated me, for I was invisible to it; and yet, millions of silver bodies pressed to the walls, glinting white showing where they gazed at me. Something was watching me, but I couldn’t see it.

The wool blanket could not have been wrapped tighter around me. It was pulled over my head, my eyelashes locked together as I tried to shut out the groping fingers in my mind. Of course, I knew they had never been there. My mind plays tricks on me.

Sometimes I think the creatures in the dark are human.

                It’s just my mind.

                Right?

If you dont want to write then dont but if its calling to you all the more reason to keep at it

Yeah, but I don't want to keep writing it if it's just bad.

I would for sure keep reading this. I think it sounds really interesting, and I would really like to see where it is going. The premise of the creatures either being really or all in the characters mind is a very powerful thing. I am very into psychological stories so I think this is a very good place to start. I also think that you have done a good job not writing horror but also adding the creepy feel to it. Keep up the good work! I would love to see more on this.

I think you should continue. This really intrigued me and made me wonder exactly what the MC's situation was. And nice work on the descriptions. Absolutely Perfect. * thumbs up*
