Haikus can be odd
Sometimes they just don't make sense

Now some Limericks:
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,
Your effort and work will be repaid
If not with cash money
Nor with sweet honey
Maybe a “lemon for Oreo” trade
I’ve been writing a book, the greatest in town
It’s good for a smile, a laugh, and a frown
It was typed on my “Dell”
And, of course, well,
I forgot to save and my computer shut down
I saw a sign that said “Chef for Hire”
So I applied, and, if you inquire,
I said I could fry
They gave me a try
And I set the whole place on fire
I seem smelly, or so I was told,
Another shower could probably hold
So the water was on
And flush went “the John”
Then the water went from hot to cold

Well hello there fellow new-be, (it's Ryley). I liked these poems. They were cute, I even chuckled a little. When did you write these? I liked how you displayed different types of poetry. Although you can tell that they are amateur (not that I should be talking/typing) they resemble you.
I was just wondering when in the day you write these. I know french class is boring but a lot of inspiration there.
My favorite line is
only because you took a classic phrase in life and added a twist. I was expecting a life sucks do something about it poem, but of course that's not what you did.
You use a lot of quotations I noticed, but that wasn't a huge deal because it was in a different poem each time.
Well I hope this is 150 words.....
hope to see more of your works

Oh, it's a shame the first wasn't yours, that was my favourite ha ha! Well I think you need a little bit of work on rhyme and rhythm, for example:
These rhymes are very simplistic, you may want to consider using some more sophisticated language, either by reading more, using a dictionary or thesaurus, or listening to some other great lyricists (like Eminem lol!)
There is a slight rhythm problem here due to a few too many commas:
Overall, there's some good jokes, you just need to work on using better "filler" lines in between your initial set-up line and your final punch-line. Keep it up
Hello! I’m XYZinnia!
So, when you post here on YWS, it’s really supposed to be your own work. I know for a fact that I’ve seen that Haiku before.
Here it is, actually. http://www.typetees.com/product/623/Haikus_are_easy_but_sometimes_they_don_t
So are the others your original poems? Or are they from the internet, too? Just tell me, and I’ll be happy to review them!
See ya around!

Hello,
If you have any problems or questions please pm me, I would be happy to direct to a piece that needs reviewing
Welcome to YWS! Let me remind you that we do have one rule here. Before you post a work of your own we ask that you review two other pieces of work. This is to ensure that everybodys work gets reviewed and critqued!
I won't give much of a review to this, but I did like it. the poems were cute and funny. except for the first I didn't really understand it... but other than that Bravo I loved them
