Poetry Is..

by dreaming.inTROY


Poetry is-
a vast galaxy;
harbouring many ideas.
Those who call to her
are enlightened
by many possibilities.

The flowing words;
stars,
whispering and humming.
They span over a cerulean sky
sending senses of
imagery.
As the stars float,
comets of metaphors,
shower wandering Earthlings.

Lost in a poetic universe,
I feel a spark of imagination.

Hi! I'm not really confident in reviewing poetry, but oh, well. :oops:

I liked this poem! I was intrigued by how you used figurative language to describe some types of figurative language used in it. The imagery you used to describe the imagery used in poems was good, too!

My favorite part was these three lines:

They span over a cerulean sky

sending senses of

imagery.

Good job, overall! I look forward to reading more into your work. Get on capturing more emotion, though! I need to feel something!
