Silence....
Chaos is all that is within me, but what comes out is just silence.
In the peripheral pulse of my existence, what feels deathless is silence.
Before this mortal vessel, what I carried was silence.
What is my token of love? It is silence.
What is the substrate of my weeping agony? It is silence.
And when I am gone, it is silence.

This has such vivid imagery! I really enjoyed how you captured that scene of feeling so many things, but all that comes out is silence.
“In the peripheral pulse of my existence, what feels deathless is silence.”
This is so poetic!(well obviously) It’s really novel, I wouldn’t have come up with a line that brings this much imagery.
All the lines really do hit hard, so I’ve got nothing to really add. As someone who’s getting into poetry herself, this is really inspiring. I hope to read more poems from you.
Thank you for reflecting it.
I will try to put it in honest and more simple way
Hi drapedinksy!
I'm just getting back to using the Young Writer's Society after a few years, and your poem was the first one I wanted to read! You really capture the power of silence and how it can be such a significant part of our lives. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this poem and even related to it a little. I always have such deep, profound thoughts in my head but when there comes a time to saying them out loud, I can never articulate them well.
Keep writing!
Pineapple
Thank you
