Have you ever seen someone just randomly disappear? I mean, not like in a magic show or anything like that. Just a poof and they’re gone. Well that’s exactly what happened in my classroom this morning. I was just dazing off like usual. Daydreaming of what my day could’ve been like. Like a man with a gun comes busting in the room, and he starts threatening to kill us all. But me, being totally brave and all, save the day. Or a really hot girl comes into the room with only a bikini on. But as I’m staring at a wall just thinking about this kind of stuff; the lights go out really fast. They come back on just as fast as they went off so it just seemed like somebody leaned on the light switch or something. But our teacher Mr. Anderson is gone. Poof, just like that.
“Where did Mr. Anderson go?” asked my very best friend Joe who was sitting right next to me. “This is a joke right? He’s just hiding under the desk or somethin’ right?”
We all wait to see Mr. Anderson pop out from under his large desk and say “Gotcha!” and then just keep going on about how important banana trees really are and how we couldn’t live without them. But he didn’t, nothing happened as we waited in silence.
“Hey,” said Betsy the girl who sits behind me “where did Robert go? He was sitting right next to me when the lights went out. Did anyone see him leave?” Everyone shook their heads and said no. Betsy turned really pale and looked like she was going to pass out, “What the hell is going on here?” she mumbled.
Just then the door bursts open. I expected Mr. Anderson to come walking in with Robert and laugh at us about how he totally fooled us or something like that. But it was just Angelica the smartest 8th grader in the whole world.
“Where’s your teacher?” Angelica looked at us with worry written all over her face.
“Poof,” I said, spreading my fingers out and drawing an arc in front of my face. “Our teacher went poof.”
“Yours did too?” she asked. “My teacher Ms. Virgin, I mean Ms. Virginia was standing up and showing us a picture on her laptop when the lights flashed off then on and her laptop crashed down to the floor. All my classmates except for Tyler and Rudi disappeared too. Tyler and Rudi ran out screaming schools out right after they disappeared, they’re such morons…” Angelica sighed and ran her long, delicate fingers through her shoulder length blond hair. “Any suggestions on what happened?” You can always tell its bad when Angelica runs out of ideas because she’s the smartest 8th grader on Earth. Everyone gasped in surprise and actually thought for a while.
“It’s all one big prank?” Joe suggested.
“Seriously guys?! A big prank is all you got! No wonder they think I’m smart!” Angelica cried, “Why don’t we call 911 and say we have missing people. Possibly a kidnap of some sort. “
I pull out my crappy cell phone out of my pocket and dialed the number. No ring, nothing at all.
“Hey guys,” I said my voice full of depression. “Nobody is picking up. Not even a ring is going off. You guys should try to call your parents and see if they’re okay.”
Everyone pulled out their cells phones, except Billy of course because he’s “too cool” to get a cell phone (yeah right). My classmates start yelling at their phones to pick up.
“Nobody is answering! There’s no sound at all! I’m scared…” ,said a one of the new kids in our class. I look behind my shoulder at him. He’s shaking like a leaf and… oh my god, a dark circle started to form and get bigger around his 'crotch area'. He started crying and ran out of the room.
“I wanna go home!” a younger kid in our class whined. Everyone in our class looked like they were on the bridge of tears.
“Looks like there are no more teachers guys. Just go home, check on your parents,” I said and sighed. Crap, I thought, I should go home and check on my parents. “Hey Joe, let’s go walk over to my house too. I want to see if my parents and my little brother are okay.” Oh crap! My little brother! If all the parents are gone (so far) then who’s watching him at home?! We never took time out to unsharpen our pointy, dangerous, knives. “Crap,” I said out loud. “Joe, if you want to go, we need to go now.”
“Sure dude. I really don’t want to be alone with all this crap going on,” I nod in agreement. I look over at Angelica; she looks like she’s on the verge of tears. “What do we do?” Joe mouths at me. I shrug my shoulders while mentally saying: I don’t know what the hell to do!
Finally I say, “Angelica, do you want to come with us? I know you don’t have really anybody else to go with and your plans for the day are probably ruined considering all the adults in the world have 'poofed'.” Angelica glares at me for that comment.
“Fine, but I do not stand for jerks. So I will leave if you’re a jerk and then you will die because you just stuck yourself with two outstanding morons. Got it?!” she gave us a ‘do not mess with me’ kind of look. I almost laughed at it because it was so horrible, it was funny. Good thing I didn’t ‘cus you know, we would die then.
“Come on then guys. I need to get to my house fast to see if my little brother Steve has killed himself with a fork or something.”
Joe nodded, “Steve really loves those forks. Though I think he’s really more of a spork guy if you ask me.” ‘Cus you know Steve really stabs himself like all the time, I thought.
“Let’s go then duuude” Angelica said.
“Okay duuuude,” Jo said sarcastically.
“What that’s how you guys say it! Why can’t I say it?” Angelica gave us a really pouty face.
“No, Angelica, just no,” I said and rolled my eyes.
“What’s your name again?” Her hand was pointed right at me.
I smacked my hand against my forehead. “Jace…” I mumbled.
“I can’t hear you!” Jo practically screamed in my ear.
“Jace you idiot! My freaking name is Jace!” I yelled back at him.
“Yeah, I know. Nobody can forget such a stupid name! And you should get some freakin’ breath mints too. Your breath friggin’ stinks!” He started to go into a laughing fit and I pushed him a little and his face made friends with a tree.
“Oops, didn’t see you there!”
“Owww…” Joe was holding his face, which was now bright pink by the way, in his hands.

I really like what you have so far. Although it's a little hard to follow at some parts. But otherwise it was a fun read and made me laugh which is always a good sign. I can't wait to read more.
Greetings Doodlegirl!
I really love reading this!I find the story interesting and funny.I wonder what will happen next?
Anyway try to make your paragraph "cleaner".You could leave a line blank in between paragraph. It helps the readers to read your amazing work easily.
Try not to write like:
He’s just hiding under the desk or somethin’ right?”
They way you write words like somethin',friggin' or "cus" is inappropiate(well to me it is).
You could have wrote something, freaking and cause/because.
The way you told the story was perfect. You elaborate the plot beautifully. This story was great.Looking forward for the next chapter(I really want to know what happen to the missing people and who abducted them)
Have an amazing day,
