They promised that dreams can come true,
but failed to mention that nightmares are dreams too.

Hey, this is really amazing, but, I just found out that Oscar Wilde said the exact same words?? I am sure that you just accidentally got the same words, because yeah, that can happen, but I am just afraid that somebody else might, like, jump around on your back or something. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Really? I fixed it up a bit though due to the suggestions from the other reviewers, so I'm not completely sure if it's the same any more o: I'm not sure if it's still classified as plagirism though because I had no idea, if I did I never would've put it up. But anyway, I'll do a bit of research and have a look if I need to delete this. Thanks for telling me!
No prob
And I DON'T (NEVER WOULD) think that you plagiarized. I was just.. worried. Sorry if you took offense to my statement
Great poem.
And yep, some words are definitely different.
This is really short, but really cool.
I feel like you could develop it and make much more... I don't wanna say interesting, but you know... like scary. Put the contrast between dreams and nightmares across and you've got something really meaningful here.
Your concept is impressive and I would be very interested to see how you could expand on it. BUt for the few words you have used... still impressive.
Well done.
Keep writing. XD

Thank you for the review!
Gurl, I like it. Good work! -pats on back-
Aw, thanks gurl ^o^
No problem c:
I wish I could write 2 sentences and get a feature ;n;
Now like I just pointed out I love this!!! Not because of the poem itself (which I do even though it's 2 lines) but because it's 2 lines and yet people can actually because people can review it! It's amusing, probably just me. But yeah. I'm not being mean to anyone, Devi doesnt mind me saying this, we are good friends and all so yeah. No one go on about me being mean.....
But I like it I really do!!
Lollin'.
I told you I would!!!
Ahh clever! Good job sunshine
Thank you Amber ^-^
Hello there, I really like the concept here. You have provides the meaning of 'promises' in accordance with the poet's own understanding. With only provides two lines in the poem based on two comparisons that seem absolutely true.
I like to let myself explore the meaning of the poem from various points of view and found it really has a lot of meaning. Including tone of voice for this poem which helps provide greater impact. It's cynical tone where almost all people consider that dreams can be true but at the other side, they are hardly to accept the reality when something bad happened to them. The interpretation of the poem would be different to others, every readers may have its own ideas about this poem. Some messages may be difficult to convey the meaning intended, but the reader should try to look at all possibilities that exist behind this short poem.
Keep writing! I wish to see more from you soon
Kudos, cheers.
Thank you so much!
Hello! I like this poem. Even though it's short, it manages to make a point that is very thought-provoking, and I think the conciseness makes it stronger. I like how the poem takes the common idea of dreams coming true and makes it more two-sided.
The poem works as a couplet, but if it were made part of a larger poem, the lines might have more depth and emphasis.
Because the poem is so short, I think clarity is very important. The verb tenses don't completely line up, which makes it slightly unclear. Also, the rhythm of the poem isn't constant all the way through, which makes it harder to read.
For an example, you could change it to something like:
"They promised that dreams can come true,
But failed to explain that nightmares are dreams, too."
Those are all the suggestions I have. I enjoyed the poem, and I hope you keep writing!
Thanks so much for your review!
