A/N: Explanation at bottom. Inspired by Sexy Dreams by Spoonboy.
King of my world
and best in my town.
I sit upon the throne
and wear my crown.
Weird, males wear crowns.
"Only guys wear crowns!
Outcast! Outcast!
You're a girl!"
You're a jackass!
If you aren't a girl, then what are you?
A human
not an animal.
I could care less about pronouns, names.
No, it isn't "faggot".
Interested in other girls?
Sexual attraction is sexual attraction,
I'm not sick.
I should be able to love a girl
without a...
male reproductive organ.
Isn't the Fa word only directed towards gay me-?
Shut up for a second
okay?
It's 2014,
don't use 'gay'?
One last question. What should we call you by?
My name?
That's all I ask for.
No "xie, him, she"
I could list more.
"Pronoun this!
Pronoun that!"
All we care about are pronouns?
Seems whack.
I'm not right
nor wrong,
but I'll be praying for the day
when pronouns are gone.
Another A/N: I'm not in this situation, but pronouns do bother me.

Hello Strangelove,
Boy, pronouns are annoying! And besides, the "Fa word" shouldn't exist. People have rights, and just because you like the same gender doesn't mean that everyone else can take those rights away. When I meet someone who is like that, I call them by their name, no pronouns required. Anyway, enough of me ranting.
In some areas you use rhyme, in some you don't; that's fine with me but it kind of doesn't flow that well in my opinion. If you don't want to do anything about it I'm totally cool with that. Other than that, it's a brilliant piece!

This is very well written. You seem to be a person who speaks thier mind. You took a grammar piece and made it into a literary encouragement for people who are in that situation. You seem like you care about other people. It had a serious vibe but it also had a pinch of humor.I did see any grammar mistakes.I really liked the message behind this piece.Good luck!!!
I love this. <3
Jack here for a quick review.
When I clicked on this I didn't expect this, it was though a very normal topic. There are a lot of poems of relationships between different sexes, but you really took new light. Your wrote it very well and I really enjoyed it.
When I started reading this, I thought it was some kind of medieval story, then it came back to the present. I like hat.
When I read most poems they are very sophisticated. They use big words, and they explain things in depth, you feel like in old English. But this was great, it used modern language and it was perfectly placed. A lot of people try this and fail, unlike you. You made this poem interesting and funny.
Despite the seriousness of this topic, it was still a chance to have a cry and have a laugh. You have raised some good points, and I am sure they will spark some debates. I just got to ask what does Xie mean, I didn't really understand this, is it some kind of slang or is it actually a word?
So overall I really enjoyed this, and congratulations on getting it in the spotlight, because it really deserved it. You have some ood skill and should be very proud of what you wrote here, it was some real good stuff.
So
"Pronoun this!
Pronoun that!"
All we care about are pronouns?
Seems whack.
Love this!
I thought it was a good way to end the review.

Nice title
I enjoyed this. Thoroughly and unregrettably. The wordplay was great, with the way it deconstructed how quick society is to label something. The little "voice" in italics was well used in that it provided a sort of interviewer for the narrator to make a really strong point. I read this through once and I loved it to death.
We live in a world where we depend upon pronouns. Now, I prefer "he", but the artist Spoonboy provides a great point about it.
The ending basically means that it doesn't matter if it's "xie, he, she" or whatever. In the future, it wouldn't matter. They and the person's name is what they'll go by.
I have a problem with "they". It creates ambiguity between singular and plural. We already have that ambiguity in the second person and it drives me nuts. I don't even have a hint of a solution but grammar is not going to be fun in the future.
