He opened his bronze urn,
the home in which your soul would remain,
and sucked up the life you had left.

I absolutely adored what you wrote here. I feel like I can actually picture the deceased person's soul being sucked into the bronze urn.

I’m really not a big fan of poetry but this I really liked. The last stanza was my favourite.

leaving nought but a cold, dark stone
imprinted with titles, sweet nothings and regrets.
