Hi, I'm here for reviewing. I'll start off by saying that I really enjoyed this. It had a pleasant feel to it. Normal everyday life. The parts that I liked:

The narration was pretty good, kind of getting the reader to know the main character better. 'You know? The girl who got tied to the ship then saved by Perseus?' I really liked this line. Also I like how you showed Andy's feelings about the senior year. It lets the reader know how the story is going to start.

And of course, the descriptions, I love those. About the teacher, about the new guy. Especially how you described the new guy, saying that Andy couldn't look away from those eyes told me that he must be pretty handsome.

I liked you you made her stutter at the first sentence to show her nervousness. And now I am starting to wonder why the guy is suddenly interested in talking to her. Also, I'm curious about homeroom. Why did Andy feel so afraid walking into the class? You did mention that there were people who would terrorize her but I couldn't get much detail on it. which is good, slowly blend it with the story.

What I would suggest as to make the story a little bit better would be the starting. It started off with the clock telling the time. Maybe start it off with something more interesting. Some event, or a dialogue or anything that would hook the readers to the story. That's all. Keep it up. You write pretty good. And if you write more, do tell me. =)

thank you. hearing reviews and comments makes me super happy. i love writing and will use your ideas for writing. :)

Hey! First of all, I just wanted to say that Muse is an awesome band and it's awesome that the title of your work is also a Muse reference! Sorry, just wanted to get that out there. Okay, now on to the actual review.

First off I wanted to say that I think you have such a nice polished writing style and I could find almost no grammer mistakes, the few I did find I'm not going to mention because they are so small that I will let someone better at grammer than me point them out.

I think the dialogue is really nice and natural, it feels like it's not straining. But I think you could work on the descriptions a little better, just whats happening around the character and just some small details like what the classroom looks like or graffiti carved on the desks. Just small things like that add so much more detail to the descriptions in a story.

I like Andy as a character so far, but I think some more character interaction would be good for the reader just to see more of her personality. I think it's funny how her dad is a classicist and her name is a reference to mythology but she hates her name and her favorite band is Muse which is also a reference to mythology yet she loves it. I don't know I just think it's funny how that all ties together. Oh and the title is a reference to Muse which is a reference to greek mythology.

So I'm going to end this review here and tell you that I really liked what I have read so far and I hope you continue writing because I think you have a great style.

thank you so much! I didn't know i was good :)
