Even though this is my first submission to this excellent site, it will most likely be revised and submitted as a separate work. Although feedback would be greatly appreciated this rough draft.

Chapter one, pg.1: New job offer.

I had woke up that morning to a noisy alarm clock that was playing some classic rock by my favorite radio station, 102.5 the classics playing all the time!. Of course this time I wasn't to happy to hear it. The night before was very eventful, and to my unliking, very eventful for me. My wife and I were hosting a party the night before... a drinking party with all of our "closest" friends. I invited only three of my "closest" friends, Denice Topper, Lieutenant Arber Calatyst(as he liked to be called), and Hayne Caller. But of course my wife had to go over the edge and around the world again with her guest list. I couldn't have counted the number of snotty, uptight "closest" friends that she invited over, because they all seemed like they all planned out the things they were going to do that day, but I figured that the majority of them were either on the back porch drinking and listening to the awful music that had recently "sweep-ed" the nation or watching the football game in the living room.

So I had came up with the most simplest plan-actually my wife had come up with the idea but you get the point. She had told me to get my friends and myself and watch the football game upstairs in our room. I was kinda appalled at the idea, but after a moment of thought, the idea of not being around any of her friends. They would always brag about how working with my wife at their wondrous job at the insurance company. I was pretty sure that everyone of them were so uptight that the men were women and the women... well again you get the point. When I had to my friends of my wife's idea, they were expressing the same feelings that I was when she had told me. To explain a few: Anger, Disappointment(our living room had the best TV), and laughter(they thought I was joking). Of course after I thoroughly explained the situation they obligated with discomfort.

Came the party and everyone unfortunately came, so my friends and I made our way upstairs and into the entertainment room to watch the game. After a while the game had finally ended and everyone was starting to leave. My wife was saying goodbye to all of her guest members and I had snuck my friends out of the backdoor to help them escape the awaiting pile up at the front door. My wife had apparently got drunk and was making her way up the steps, albeit in a very lacking sexual way. I thought after about thirty minutes of waiting for me that she would pass out, and I was right. Trust me, she is a very intelligent woman, but even us "brainiacs" have to let go a little once in a while. I went up to the bedroom and and went to sleep with a slight buzz.

The reason why I woke up grumpy that morning was that I had to go to work. My job was at a company that made computers. I don't exactly remember the name, but I do know that it is the top grossing company. Ofter than that there was nothing much to explain. My particular job was of technical engineering, I was of the few people who designed the ideas for the computers, but I on some occasions went on the road to help out people that needed the most help of all. It wasn't the worse job, but it had some of the worst employees. That is basically all I have to say about it.

But I guess I shouldn't be complaining. There are alot more people out there in the world that have even worse job, even more than that don't even have jobs, which I am sad to say. So I pushed myself to get out of bed and into the bathroom. I took my usual morning bath, hot and slow to wake myself up. After I had finished my bath I put on my work clothes: a plain colored suit, a tie, and black pants. I put on my glasses and brushed my brushed my teeth. I picked up my briefcase from behind my desk in my work room and I made my way downstairs to make myself a cup of coffee.

I hadn't noticed though that my wife had made her way out of bed during that night and made her downstairs until I noticed her passed out on the couch with her mouth wide open and a poodle of drool forming on the pillow. I didn't try to wake her up seeing as she was usually angry when she was in a hangover. In fact, I usually compared her hangover anger to the type of anger that came with her monthly period, which was truly awful. So I got my cup of coffee and drank it. I was about to leave when I came up with a revenge plan for making my friends and I go upstairs to watch the game. I retrieved a cup from the kitchen and filled it with cold water. Before I went into the living room, my conscience told me that the aftermath would stain the couch, but then I figured that I was started to become as uptight as my wife's friends, so I went on with my mission. I placed it onto the coffee table in the living room and then with extreme caution, I put my wife's fingers into the cup. I quickly left the house before she would wake up to discover what I had done. Fortunately I was already driving out of the drive way when I heard my wife scream my name. So I stepped on the gas pedal and tried not to crash into the mailbox as I was laughing so hard.
