Hey, to start off I just want to say that I'm new here and if any of you awesome commenters would like to show me the ropes and tell me usefull things, that would be great!
"I won't hurt you."
His eyes flew open as he awoke suddenly. He gasped a lung full of unfamiliar air and realized he didn't know where he was. He was not wearing his own clothes, and he thought someone had been talking to him, even before he woke up. How could he remember that? Oh.
Oh.
He also remembered fire. Someone yelling a loved ones name. Someone yelling for him, too.
Who was it? Why weren't they here?
He sat up quickly, planning to swing his legs out of the bed and get up. But there came a sharp pain in his head and he cried out. Did he? He couldn't remember.
A hand pushed him back down, and another cradled his head.
"Ssshhhhh. Relax. You suffer from the sun sickness."
A cool mist fell on his body, stinging his skin. He riggled in discomfort, and his head screamed pain to him.
"Lie still, little brave one. You have had a long day." He found his neck was paralyzed, as he could not look away from the tent cieling.
"Why were you out in the noon day sun? You're burnt all over."
He tried to remember, but found he could not. All that came from his mouth when he attempted speech was a painfull rasping sound, as dry as his cracked lips.
"Rest now." He was instructed.
So he slipped back into the world of dreams.

Hey ctlvr1,
What is with the short-short stories these days? I've come across so many.
Yes, your story is short. Very short.
I would like to see more, because, to be honest, it's very good.
To start with, 'useful' is spelt with one 'l'.
In regards to showing you the ropes, I think you can pretty much take for granted that no piece of your work will go unreviewed. There's a zillion writers here who would adore reviewing your work, always.
In saying that, head over to the forums and click on one for new people. They'll help a lot, I'm sure.
Now onto your piece:
"His eyes flew open as he awoke suddenly. He gasped a lung full of unfamiliar air and realized he didn't know where he was. He was not wearing his own clothes, and he thought someone had been talking to him, even before he woke up. How could he remember that?"
This is good, but two problems.
Problem #1: it is too brief. Elaborate, string it out. A lot goes on here. He wakes up, breathes, finds out he's not in familiar territory, wearing different clothes, is someone talking to him, how did he know, because he was asleep, blah blah blah. It's good, don't take it the wrong way, but stop, take a breath, and write it slowly. I like it as an opener, but you need to work on it. As an example, I would write it a bit like this (but it is up to you how you do it):
"His eyes flew open as he awoke suddenly. (this still works!) He gasped in a *lungful of unfamiliar air. it was a moment before he realised that he didn't know where he was."
*lungful is one word.
Problem #2: You say 'He' too many times. Try to word it differently.
Your 'Oh. Oh' is nice. Good and colloquial and the way you placed them on different lines helps your readers stop and 'take it in' the same way your protagonist does.
"He also remembered fire. Someone yelling a loved ones name. Someone yelling for him, too."
The same thing as your 'he' situation occurs here, where 'someone' is repeated awkwardly.
I would say something like:
"He also remembered fire. A voice yelling a loved *one's name. Someone yelling for him, too."
*One's, because you're talking about somebody's (ownership) name.
"Did he? He couldn't remember." This is good in the sense that the reader can understand the confusion going on with your character.
"He *riggled in discomfort,"
*wriggled. Easily fixed mistake.
I'm finding a whole lot of 'he' and 'him'. Your writing will maintain such better quality if you manage to hook in the technique to use rewording effectively.
"He tried to remember, but found he could not. All that came from his mouth when he attempted speech was a painfull rasping sound, as dry as his cracked lips."
This was really good, I liked it.
"So he slipped back into the world of dreams."
I feel like this last line is fumbled over a bit.
Maybe you could say, "And so he slipped back into the world of dreams." ? It is up to you.
All over, you certainly have talent in the way you write.
I look forward to reading more! Well done!

UPDATE THIS UPDATE THIS UPDATE THIS!!! (you will probably notice that I tend to do A LOT of caps.) So far you've added mystery, which makes the reader want to strangle the page to find out what the crappers is happening. They want to know what the narrator was doing to get himself so knocked up, and they want to know who-the-what is talking to him. Plus, from the lack of info the who-the-what gives, it makes the reader try to guess. Guessing is a teaser, and TEASERS ARE ALWAYS GOOD. Make sure you don't leave them hanging for too long though. Puh-lease update this. I'm a sorta-kinda-not-really newbie too, and i would gladly help you. YOU DID GREAT!
THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW. serous. i wasnt expecting any. i write on writers-network too, ts a good sight but no one reviews my stuff. eveyone elses. but not mine. more ll be up tonight. i was planning on posting it as a new story called "Oasis 2" or is that nothow things go down?
yeah. You can phrase your work any way you want to.
