I read stories left and right
About beautiful girls with beautiful souls
Who fall in the truest kind of love with
Perfect boys and their perfect hearts
And it is magic.
.
I know I am not a beautiful girl
And you are not a perfect boy
.
But I also know that the way I feel
When your dimples show
Or your fingers brush past
Or your gaze lingers
Or your laughter fills my head
Is enough magic
to make me one of them
And I wish that someone
Would take the time
To write a story about us.

Hello, cha3739.
Kanome here with a wonderful review for you!
Well, this poem is really beautiful, truly lovely and romantic.
I love the way it is worded, the imagery, and detail.
I felt my heart pound as I started to read this poem.
I thought it would be one of those really cliche poems, but it isn't c:
Which proves you've got potential as a writer (or poet).
My favorite part was:
Because I can see the imagery in my head. Which is a good element to have when it comes to poems. I can't wait to read more of your work! Keep it up. I want to read more :p

So I can't say I have any critique for this. I'm not the best at reviewing poetry, so this will likely be a list of compliments. I love how real it is; the fact that the characters are shown as flawless human beings and that's why their relationship seems to work. You acknowledge that real humans have flaws, and real love is to look past that. There is yet to be a story written about an actual heterosexual couple, not a prince and princess.
Hi, I'm Sarah.
Firstly, WOW!
Even though I'm gay, this poem still gives meaning to my life. My fiancee and I are not perfect but I wish that sometimes someone would take the time to ask us about our love story, because in my opinion it's beautiful.
Secondly, I tried to find some grammar mistakes, to make this better, and I couldn't find any. So, very good job, that means that you took the time to look this over.
Keep writing.
I look forward to your work.
Hello! I liked this poem because I can most definitely relate to this. It had good imagery and word choice. It flowed nicely and is really cute. One question though- Why did you put a period in between each of the new stanza's? It doesn't make sense to me, really. Anyway, it's a really nice poem and I enjoyed it a lot. Thank-you. Happy New Year!

Hello, Holmes here to review. sigh, why must all poetry on here seem to be based off a familiar topic. Do not get me wrong I enjoyed this poem a little, but love has been tried and true, and seems to be done to death. Sorry if that came out harsh. But, if it's something from your own experiences, then I could begin to understand this poem. One last thing, I believe you're missing your comma's, they are sometimes essential to a piece of poetry. Best of luck upon your writtings.
I absolutely love the first line. Most of the commonly used written language is read left to right- whether that was your aim or not, it's the perfect attention-getter. On the topic of perfection, your excellent use of repetition helped develop contrast between the lovers in the stories and the couple in the poem. I also love the irony of the last line. Wonderful wordplay! My only critique is that punctuation would help it flow easier.
Hey Cha

This is beautiful :')
I can't really find any mistakes in here as I'm in love with the thought of true love
I like the fact that your poem deals with reality, with real girls, real boys and their unnoticed but beautiful love stories.
When you talk about love, it shouldn't be imagined like the ones we see on television or read in books, its not always beautiful and perfect.
Little imperfections do act a lil' magic to life.
I love this poem very very much, its simple still very heart touching.
Thankyou so much for writing this.
Beautiful emotions well portrayed!
Keep writing!
Love,
Krish
