Well, I'm surprised that no one has pointed it out yet,

But you rated your work in correctly.
It shouldn't be PG-13, but R instead.
Using the F-word even once makes it automatically an R rated story.
But back to the story:
Well-written, good concept and your language skills aren't too shabby.
I liked it. Good job!
I love the story
Adam seems like the biggest sweetie and Carter is like the total jock big brother
The only thing is, like someone said before, it was a bit predictable
Sometimes it works, but I think you could afford to hold off until she gets to the part with her barging in on the two guys
Other than that, it was truly awesome
This story was written very well, though I think you need to add much more details about both Carter and Adam (indivisually) so it bring more emotional feeling whenever the narrator realizes they're gay.
great source for prompt, eh?
yay! You used my prompt! <3 <3
On to the nitpicks!
Should be takes instead of take.
Comma after priss, not a period.
Uncapitalize she.
comma after the 2nd I and before the 3rd.
I'd put these thoughts in italics.
should be a comma after Erica not a period.
You're missing a word...
You don't need a comma there.
uncapitalize he
I think there should be a semicolon after brother instead of a period.
comma after me not a period.
Dad doesn't need to be capitalized in this case. if you had said "Dad yelled." then it would
Comma after resist. Also what's he talking about? Specify!
You don't need the comma after we.
Ok! Time for the big picture.
I like this story, you did a good job of it. I think you need to work on the hallways scene. More description of what's going through her head. The beginning could use a little bit of work too, it's kinda like an info dump, but a little bit better written. Go over it again and see if you could change anything to make it less of an info dump. The way you start it is a little cliche too, the reader knows she walks in on something before the piece even starts.
I like the end. Ending on a comic note is always good. I think you should give more description on Carter and Erica's relationship. Are they close? Do they fight? Do they barely tolerate each other? You've got a very good draft here. I really like some of your descriptions. "Especially when you’ve got our dad, who take perfectionism and OCD to new levels" That was pretty good..
Yes, I know my comments are a little scattered, I was basically telling you what I thought as things popped into my head. I can't wait to see what you do with this piece! I hope you keep using my prompts!
THIS IS PURE AWSOME.
Okay. It was a tad predictable and i did kinda guess that her brother was gay but it was really good. Some things to work on thought would be lengthyness and use more describing words. Other then that i really enjoyed it and you did really well.
xx.
