What is love but a word?
An overused phrase?
Love is a mix,
With every emotion in it.
For me, at least.
What is love, but a lie?
An over-used excuse.
Haunting,
Biting,
Scaring,
Hiding.
So through with this abuse.
But through sunshine and rain,
You find my heart again.
Walking proud standing high,
Dark diamonds in your eyes.
What is love, but a needed thing,
Crying at your doorstep,
Until you let it in.
Begging hands,
Wide eyes,
Loving arms are your vise.

very good. this has wonderful feeling to it and lovely emotions.
i can tell you right now ur poem is one of the best poems i've read all day, and wat you said about luv iz true. one thing that makes poetry unbelievably great is the truth behind the words people right. that's wat i found in this poem.
It was epic. Like legen..... wait for it...... dary! Every part of that was soooooo true. People say hate is a strong word, but so is love and everybody throws it around here and there, it's lost its meaning,
Keep up the good work! Keep Writing!
Hi there.

Funnily enough, I do really like this poem.
It's simplicty really hits home, and delivers your opinion on 'love'.

Lovely flow. These lines work well, and sound quite clever when said; Even though the lines are different in shape, they come together very nicely.
And over-used excuse. (This meant to be 'An'?)

So through with this abuse.
Loved the structure of this stanza.
It sounds amazing and speeds up a little bit, showing the somewhat irratic & angry despostion you have on love. (is it meant to be IM so through--?)
Looking through the rest of it I cant find any other nickpicks, apart from the last line.
A pretty bad ending to such a good poem. Maybe make it sad at the end? Or try to leave an impact or another question to the reader. The end is where you have to put the icing on the cake really.
Cracking job, keep writing.
Hi I liked the poem. It was simple and to the point, fortunately it wasn't one of the many cliche type of poems that I always read about love, though that it is a quite complicated thing to describe. To be this young, you write well , keep up the good work
Great poem, i Really liked it. Short, sweet and to the point. I don't know how to explain it, but you're poem was able to encapture everything that i've been thinking these past couple days and put into writing...twilight zone? anyways, really great poem, you've got talent!
It's a great poem, i just was wondering what made you write this? Are you mad at love? glad? If you could go deeper down and bring up the real reason, and put that into words, you'd get a really great poem. I liked your poem, despite my questions.
Check the first stanza you got kinda of an error lol. Other than that, good!
Hello there,
this is a really good poem that has a lot of excellent, distinctive characteristics that really stood out in this. I also liked the rhyming that you used it was very creative and really worked in this circumstance. It used correct grammar and was interesting and truthful for the reader. You expressed your perspective correctly and it is relatively easy to understand. I couldn't find any problems with this and overall I think this is very outstanding. Keep writing because this is great.
