That one,
That quite one
She is the hurt,
Pain, hatred, fear
But the mask shows love,
Humor, and strength.
The mask is taking over,
Then she will be but a shell.
The funny part is,
She won’t fight it,
She embraces it,
She doesn’t want to feel anymore.
All she lost,
All she saw,
All she knows.
It’s killing her.
The mask, it changes
For friends,
it’s funny, tough, and sarcastic.
For family,
crazy, fun, strong.
But out of all those things,
She’s none.
Just scared.
The skin on a doll.
Never the pretty one,
Nor graceful.
Just plain, boring.
she act’s everyday.
Time cannot heal all wounds.
But if it could,
She’d be full, healthy, strong,
She would be the mask.
Not just fear
That girl,
The quiet one,
Is only the mask,
Is only me.
