The All Mighty Telephone

Hearing is one of the best senses,

And one of the worst.

From your daughter is born,

To your granddaughter was still born.

From talking to your boyfriend about a great time you had,

To arguing about child support.

From winning concert tickets on a radio station,

To can't go because your job called you in.

From saying Happy Birthday to your wife while out of town,

To saying I love you to her while your plane is going down.

Are phones a blessing or a curse?

I don't know.

To me, it's more like a poem as well, but a very nice poem :) I always wonder if it was worse to not hear or to not see? And most of time, I really can't make it up.

It really wasn't apart of the poem, I wanted to hear everybody's opinion if they wanted to hear or not. I'll probably take it out of the poem.

Is the sentence "I want to hear other opinions" part of the poem. If I don't really like it like that. I think I would have been best if you ended your poem at 'I don't know".

But that's just my opinion.

Aww... was kind of sad.

I liked it though, it made me think. It's like one of those, "Yay-neigh" rhymes.

Actually, if you reworked it as a poem, it might be better. You're already halfway there with the "Town" "Down" thing in the middle.

As for my opinion:
I'd much rather hear. 'Tis better to have known and be sad that never know at all.

Peace.
