I'm not pretty.
I'm not skinny.
I don't have a lot to offer.
I don't have much to give.
Why are you still here?
Why haven't you gone for something more?
I don't understand what would make you love me.
There is not one thing special about me.
I don't have any special talents,
i don't have any special skills.
I'm not sure why you still love me,
But with all my heart I'm so thankful you do.
> I don't know if this is the best, I'm sure it could use some work. I wrote it in ten mins.('') Not the most time spent writing a poem.

But it's not poetry! It's just a series of barely interconnected sentaces that have been said so many times before!
It needs *something* about it to make it worth reading, whether it be language, form, structure, rhythm, rhyme, anything, but it does not have that.
This is a poem many can relate too. I did like this poem. good work
There's a line from "The Goon Show"-
"When suddenly, nothing happened!"
that pretty well sums up this poem for me. The speaker is in love with some unknown person, but doesn't really want to come to grips with that love itself. I suppose this could be taken as a metaphor for academic endeavours generally, but it doesn't seem that this was your intention.
Whithout a link to something other than what is on the page, this seems to have no purpose and, as a consequence, it is immediately forgettable.
I can totally relate to this... wow, it sound like something I would have written.... wow, wowity wow wow wow! This was really goodm I love things I can relate to! Nice job!
Everything I have to say to this has been said on your other poem. Exactly the same things apply here.
You've not said the most important thing, do you have MONEY? If you have that, then it's enough to make everyone forget all your normalities. In ten minutes, that should have been the first thing to come in your mind.
