The one thing that life’s taught me,
Is to love and expect not a thing
The one thing that I’ve learned to see,
Is the heartbreak that expectations can bring.
Must we blend in, or stand out from the throng?
Must we always be right, or can we righteously be wrong?
Is happiness just a theory? Can it never be achieved?
Is sorrow forever? Or are the Zodiac signs to be believed?
The only thing that’s worth it all,
Is the comfort of having friends.
If everything is for a cause, then what does sorrow transcend?
Right or wrong, good or evil it’s a constant brawl.
Yes, no, maybe, definitely; my brain tries to stall.
Hope is constantly eclipsed by the pain,
Happiness is muslin, and sorrow is the stain.
Sometimes all we want to feel , is like we belong.
Sometimes all you need is a right that’s worth a wrong.
Sometimes optimism is the light,
Sometimes the end is worth a sight.
All that remains in the end is you,
Free of all the pain, rid of all the blue.
So just wait for hope to arrive,
Never yield,just continue to strive.

very nice.. The flow was gentle and smooth and also depth had me lost.. very well written and the inspiration must have been serious.. well done:)
This poem is really good because it makes you think. I gives me the feeling that youve been wondering these things
You have really good ryhmes and I like how you used really good strong words like 'eclipsed' hahaha
it had a good rythm aswell
keep writing! Your poems are always really good
I like reading this one. I didn't see anything wrong with it at all
I love how this got me thinking about questions I never would have thought about. The big words make it sound very professional. Honestly I could read this five times and not get bored or tired of reading. There's really nothing wrong with it.
This makes me sad. There must be a story behind this as is with many poems. The details are very well done and creates a very good picture. The emotion in this is very strong and I can see this is very well done. Keep up the good work and may you receive many helpful reviews!!!! Happy Writing!!
