HURST, JACOB E., dead.

HURST, JACOB E.
216-44-0567
O NEG

Mother. "The world's gone mad!
Insanity is buildings in its veins
It's crawling underneath the skin
And infecting the brains
Of children everywhere!"

Son. "Mothers are in despair!"

M. "I didn't raise my child
to think that love and trust are rare!"

S. "But why should I care?
I've got napalm in my skin,
and weapons hidden within--"

M. "And a brain like a cold, calculating machine."

S. "I know what "defense" means:
I fight so no one threats me!"

M. "Is it a crime not to hate?
Not to kill or retaliate, but love and appreciate?
My brother, my friend."

S. "And be fooled again and again? You're naive."
M. "You're weak."
S. "You wouldn't last a week."
M. "They'll bury you, son."

S. "No, not a burial, Mother. They'll burn me.
They'll burn me in an acid dipped sheet."
