Living in the Now
You try and try to get inside,
To see what's in my head
You always ask if somethings wrong
The answer is unsaid
Your daring me to be the best
To never be out of place
To be perfect in everything I do
To always win the race
And the two of you, when put together
is always "what to be"
But I want something known only by one
And that one isn't even me
You don't understand, I'm scared, I'm frightened
From what you both have spoken
That I have to think fast and do it now
If I don't futures present will be broken
Some don't even realize
You don't but I do
Now isn't the past
Nor the future to come

Nice! I liked the idea nd title of this poem. the only thing is "YOUR daring me to be the best" should be "YOU'RE daring me to be the best' but other than that well done!
