Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
Thanks!

I was wondering why it didn't work before, and now I'll definitely go have a look. ^_^
Oh, and I made the edit, but I didn't post it on YWS yet. I also wrote more and handed it in to my English teacher.
Ayra,
I fixed the link for the thing about parallelism: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/grammar/g_parallel.html.
Ta,
Cal.
Thanks for the review! :}
An A student? I wish...well, A's in Language, but I failed Math. >.< Heh.
Wow, you sound like one of those A students in school ( just by what you said of ' buy i"m going to do more anyway). I really liked this, I won't bug you about the description, because you already got that point. The description is great. I'm basically no help because the person before me said most of it, all I'm here to do is say, 'Great Job!'
Wow, thanks so much!

That was really helpful! I'll make the changes as soon as I get home, because now I'm using an agonizingly slow school computer. >.<
This is actually a part from my book, so the reader would already now their descriptions, but my English teacher wouldn't. So I will add a little bit on how they look. Same for the Guinevere-Ayra-Orron relationship thing.
Right now I'm working on the part that comes next. The project is [supposed] to be three pages ong, but I'm going to do more anyways.
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to critique this! It really helps.
Narf!
Ayra
Here is my critique. It’s half way to a proper critique, but I hope it helps you out. There is a list of overall notes and questions at the end, beside the line by line stuff.
Cal.
Ayra,
If you have any questions about anything feel free to shout out or PM me. Hope this helps.
Here are some overall notes and questions I had.
1. If I knew what kind of English project it was, I could probably help you more. Is there any specifics or instructions you have to follow?
2. I’d like to see more physical description of Ayra and her change, and Guinevere and her change. What they looked like before and what they looked like after. It need not be a whole paragraph, just a sentence, so I have a more concrete image of what they look like in their forms.
3. Right now, as it stands, there does not seem to a definite end. Who is Guinevere and why is she important to Ayra and Orron? Does this need an definite end is the question I probably should be asking. Does it?
4. This is a really great start, and it intrigued me. Good luck with it.
Again, if you have any questions what-so-ever, feel free to ask.
Ta,
Cal.
Ooh, it's really good...
You use a lot of detail. It helps to paint an awesome picture in my mind... mostly of the scenary, though. I'd like to know what Ayra looks like, among the other characters mentioned.
Also, this sentence is a bit funky here... "But Ayra sat still, as if rooted to the rock beneath her, and the sky burned and swirled above."
I just think that it could be worded a bit better... something like this. "But Ayra sat still, as if rooted to the rock beneath her, as the sky burned and swirled above." Or maybe... "But Ayra sat still, as if rooted to the rock beneath her, the sky burning and swirling above her."
Those are merely suggestions... -grins sheepishly- You don't have to change the sentence. Like I said above, I just think it could be worded better.
Well, anyways... good luck with the rest of your project! ^-^ I hope you get a good grade on it when it's done!
Thanks!
Is there anything I can improve on though?
It's very good. Keeps the reader going.
