I liked your poem, but I feel a bit unfulfilled. In a way that I didn't enjoy it as well as I know I could. I feel as if this poem would be easier to interpret if you added commas or periods. Also I did find a few possible misspellings here and there.
In the first stanza, fifth verse, you wrote: "floating flying feeting..." Did you mean to write "fleeting"? I do believe it would make sense.
In the second stanza, fourth verse, you wrote: "wisper's wonder lost..." Did you mean to write "whisper's"? For the life of me, I have checked my dictionary for "wisper" and I cannot find it.
Other than those few things, it's a short poem. Although I didn't interpret the initial message, I enjoyed it altogether.
Hello there! CM here to give a quick review.
Laughing time
the open'ing rhyme (why did you put the apostrophe there? I might be missing something but I don't think that's right.)
listless blissful over-fine (very nice, this line is beautiful)
cautious of your dancing prey
floating flying feeting day
chasing charming wiling ways
I loved this paragraph, it flowed well and was full of great vocab. (It reminded me of this horror movie I saw once though.)
laughing time
the closing rhyme
empty shadows, broken chime
wisper's wonder lost to time (*whispers* not *wispers*)
wasteful wishing undermined
then finally you close your eyes
I was slightly confused by this last line but then again I'm not expert to poetry. I enjoyed it though and your ocabulary flowed very well. Good luck in future writing endeavors,
CM
I'm not too good with poetry, but it is really good. Its a simple rhyme, and as I read this I thought of children playing hop scotch. The last line is pretty sudden and random though, and you misspelled whisper.
