A/N: Formatting screwed up while publishing. Anywho, I made this because of all these poems about YWS. Though YWS is great and all, it's getting too meta. To honor this tradition, I'm tipping my glass to this. Yes, not the world's best work. "I have no sense of humor"? Meh. Line structure too big? Pointless? Confusing? Yes. But, that's the best part of "experimental".
I speed to my house
while writing a poem.
It's about a man writing a poem
while speeding home.
When I get there
I write a song.
It's about a man who wrote a poem
while speeding home to write a song.
I then cry to sleep
from a story.
It was about a man who wrote a poem
while speeding home
to write a song
about a man
who wrote a song
and then cried to sleep from a story.
Woke up and popped a movie in,
about a man
who read a story about a man
who wrote a poem while speeding home
to write a song about a man
who wrote a song
and then cried to sleep from a story
about a man who wrote a poem
while speeding home
to write a song about a man
who wrote a song
and then cried to sleep from a story.
And thought it was pointless and boring.
I get on Young Writers' Society,
to write a poem about my favorite word.
It's meta,
and I'm pretty bored.
It's about a man
who read a story about a man
who wrote a poem while speeding home
to write a song about a man
who wrote a song
and then cried to sleep from a story
about a man who wrote a poem
while speeding home
to write a song about a man
who wrote a song
and then cried to sleep from a story.
And thought it was pointless and boring.
Then cried himself to sleep
for lack of motivation
creativity, sense of humor,
and being too
meta.
A/N: Pointless? Yes. Well, technically not, since I had to spend points to do this. I gain no points from this. Hey, this gives me a-- you get the point.

That was really good! I have never seen anything like that before. I was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked it. I would think (if someone told of this sort of writing to me) that it would be boring and pointless, but the way you executed it, and the way you kept the meter up throughout the whole thing was really impressive! I have written poems like this (about writing poems) and I think this is the perfect example of exactly how I wanted them to turn out! Great job!
Hah, I like it.

Needs more Dr. Seuss though.
I like it, its like something I have never really seen before, it rhymes well and it keeps you interested the hole way through, and its really cool how you keep repeating everything, but its till different if you get what I mean, any how I just got to say it was worth the points, I really enjoyed it I hope that maybe others to do. because it was defiantly worth the read.
Maybe you should consider trying to write one just like this, again but on a different topic, if that is possible. maybe you could go no the topic like uh... Dragons or something, its kind of random but I love them, or maybe space travel haha....
Jack.
