Prologue - Beginning of Existence
(TW:Bad language and domestic abuse also short chapter, word count is like 700 something words oof... also has images because I intended this story to be a comic but I didn't even know my main characters so here I am writting)
It wasn't long until he found himself in the familliar enclosed space, water dripping down as he took notice of the neatly arranged soaps and shampoos on a small shelf. He felt claustrophobic. Even though the only barrier separating him from the outside world was a frail curtain that blocked his view of the rest of the room. He looked around in the small place, wondering endlessly. What was going on? Why is he here? When did he come here?
He quietly calmed down.

Well, simply it would just mean he went to get a shower, nothig complicated. He peeked outside the curtain, feeling a slight shiver go down his spine. He only managed to take a glance of a towel and sleepwear sprawled on a wide chair before he quickly pulled the curtain back, isolating himself in the shower yet again.
Pathetically cold waterdrops stung his skin everytime they fell down, even trying to change the temperature did nothing, as it still was the same icy water as before. He quietly grabbed a small bottle of whatever was on the shelf and squeezed the liquid out of it. It smelled like lavender, very boldly, almost so strong to make him feel nauseous. The cold shampoo combined with the equally freezing water gave him a terrible experience. He turned off the shower, shaking water off his hair and jumping out of the place he felt so uncomfortably in.
…
The shower actually felt kind of nice for him.
Of course, it was unpleasant. That wasn't debatable.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"
"DON'T YELL AT ME!"
"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!"
"I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!"
"CLEAN UP YOU SLUT!"
"IT WAS A MISTAKE! I'M SORRY!"
But atleast it wasn't as unpleasant as… this.
It wasn't a secret his parents were always fighting, he was in a such constant state of fear, even things he disliked brought him just a bit of comfort. His father was shouting about a broken bottle of beer, what an idiot. He wished he could do something about it. But his attempts were often just… Fantasies. In a world where his father wasn't such a scumbag, maybe he could finally live without constant paranoia. He could maybe even draw a line between things he liked and disliked. But the situation he's in, it makes him feel guilty for being picky. Maybe even just setting boundaries made him feel guilty. Why? He doesn't know.
Nuisance. That's how he felt, like a nuisance. For everything and everybody…
He forgot he's been standing in the room, he grabbed the towel and wiped himself, finally dressing up in the worn out pajamas. He looked at himself in the mirror, the face of a boy with average looks and black spiky hair sticking out met him, he just blandly stared at his appearance before finally stepping out of the bathroom. He instantly felt scared.
His mother crying, covered in bruises and gathering shattered glass off the floor. His father screaming loudly at the TV and his mother, gulping down another bottle of beer.
He silently made his way to the stairway, trying to not attract attention as hard as he could.
"Where are you going? Bring me another cig!"
He was instantly stopped, before rushing to grab a whole pack of cigarettes off a kitchen counter and place them on the couch his father was sitting on. Waiting for the order for him to leave to be said.
"At least you're not as dense as your mother."
…
"What are you standing here for? Go!"
Thank god. He felt himself automatically run up the stairs. Shutting his door and desperately locking it from the inside. He still felt unsafe.
But at least now it would take longer for... him to break through the door.
The sun behind his bedroom's window is setting, and the moon already rising, coloring the once blue sky a dark purple. Good night.
…
