This is a direct poem which is easily understood. The endless sense of longing emerges in the poem with the repetition of "I wish I could remember". This makes the reader feel the despiration of the speaker and sympathise with her. The words you used build up an ideal romantic image which is broken down at the end. This shows the terrible state in which the speaker is.
I really loved this poem since it explores a very emotional situation of love and desperation. What a perfect combination!!
Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the review; its an amazing feeling when the reader understands completely what I am talking about in my poetry
Thanks again
You're welcome.
I don't really get why you use semicolons in all the third lines in each stanza. The capitalization and use of punctuation marks should be fixed.
Good work on the message.
Sorry I
was meant to take out the capitalised words or the semicolons, and thank you
