Hey Harbo!

I see you're fairly new here, so welcome! If you have any questions, feel free to PM or wall me, and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.

I am fairly new at poetry (and thus sort-of-kinda-am-really awful-at it), but I'll do my best to review for you anyway. The 'review the person above you thread' can be slow sometimes. Though, hopefully, a good poet will see your piece before you have to submit it and give it a proper review.

Anyway, onto the review:

I don't exactly understand what you're writing about here. Is this a feeling? An ailment? I'm not really sure. I've never felt like plastic leaves were in my stomach-- though, as I mentioned, I'm not very good at poetry, so I'm very likely missing something here.

It does flow very prettily. I like the way it sounds, even if I don't understand what it means (which is how I read most professional poetry).

I was taught that each line in poetry is supposed to be capitalized, though I've been told that poetical license allows you the freedom to leave it uncapitalized. It's your choice. You might want to experiment with capitalizing them, to see if you like it better- but the way it is is fine.

Anyway, I did like your poem. It was a good read.

Keep writing!

~Shady

Thank you for the welcome! :)

I was writing about fear/panic ... the assignment was to choose an abstraction and write about it. I was trying to convey it creatively, but sometimes I have trouble ... haha ^^"

Thank you so much for the review! I really appreciate it :)

I'm not sure if I should space out the lines and the indentation to make it more dynamic ... I have to submit this by the end of November so please let me know what you think of it and what I should change or improve. Thanks :)

I like it! But if you want it to be more dynamic, then go for it! It's good either way. :)
