The tuning note is played
by the oboe, turning red.
"can we stop now!?"
Over there the bassoons,
are screeching like baboons
"Give it a rest!"
Perfect flutes
remain perfectly mute
"Thank you Ms. Model"
Violins are tuning
bows just keep on moving
"Alright you're tuned now!"
Drum sticks are dropping
Timpany mallats are thwacking
"Get them off my head!"
Trombone's slides are squeeking
Trumpet's spit valves leaking
"EEEW get it off me!"
French horns are slopping
saliva is dropping
"Keep that stuff in the bin!"
And the saxophones keep playing
a melody they're slaying
"Handel rolled over in his grave!"
And I the director,
am slowly in need Motrin
Actually I am writhing on the tile floor.
Loudly yelling
"Nevermore!"

I like the a-b-c rhyme scheme, itreally fits in to the "jumble" of instruments theme.
The Edgar Allen Poe reference at the end was good.
