I'm Maddie and I'll be reviewing
Ah, the dreaded Valentines day... The day that brought me to tears because I couldn't make cards for fourteen people over a month... Ah. (Grade one is one of those years, eh?)
Well, anyways. This is an amazing poem here. Just one nitpick. Though I'm no expert of poetry, I am wondering where the rhyming scheme. Maybe it doesn't need to be there, but I was just curious.
The mood is nice, and by nice, I mean convincing. Cupid is typically a figure of love, being a baby and all. But Cupid might well just be another Stewie Griffin in this poem.
I really don't have any nitpicks for this, Great Job!
Maddie out!
This is pretty amazing. Everyone views Cupid as a romantic figure, and you've perfectly described the reality. Your wording is brilliant and it flows well.
I just want to say that this would be a great poem by itself. Even with the hellish description of Cupid and your threat, I don't find the last two parts necessary.
So yeah, nice work.
