Prologue- No Title Yet

I suppose that my life would be simpler, maybe even happier, if I'd never been bitten. My best friend wouldn't be dead...and I wouldn't have killed her. Somehow though, I cannot regret what happened that night, for born from the fear and pain of the change grew a clarity that I'd never known existed.

I'm not alone going through this either. For the first time in my life, I truly belong.

It's not like it really matters either way. None of us could go back to who we were, even if we wanted to. We were born again that one night around an innocent campfire.

Ya it's short....what do you think?

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!

Anyway let's get right to it,

I suppose that my life would be simpler, maybe even happier, if I'd never been bitten. My best friend wouldn't be dead...and I wouldn't have killed her. Somehow though, I cannot regret what happened that night, for born from the fear and pain of the change grew a clarity that I'd never known existed.

Okay well this is quite the prologue here. It does however at first glance seems a bit incomplete there. There are those prologues that cans till work despite being on the shorter side of things and deliver that sort of powerful effect even if its not as long as it could be but this one while it seems to be starting along that path cuts off more abruptly than anything else and that doesn't really help out too well with this situation.

Despite that though, there is really enough to get your attention pretty well, and I think you do a solid enough job there in terms of ensuring that it does catch our attention quite quickly. There's also some good hints at some other backstory which also does help out quite a bit...so on the whole the bit you do have while a bit incomplete sounding is pretty effective as far as being a prologue is concerned.

So overall we have a pretty solid start going on here and the ending while abrupt is still fairly catchy and does seem like a sort of setup that could work in terms of adding more on there, so as it is it needs a bit of work but it is headed in the right direction here I think.

Aaaaand that's it for this one.

As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.

Stay Safe

I thought it was good, but it was kind of too short to say anything specific, you know?
I'd like to read the story after this to figure out what the "biting" was, but nothing really holds my attention.
