Sight. Chapter 2 of The Meeting.

The lights were a blur. There was only darkness and then the odd illuminating spark of bright as Kathryn drove fast down the motorway.

It was silent, no radio and the roads were empty.

It was like a never ending journey into pure blackness.

The document was on the passengers seat, screaming at her to open it, keeping her steady eyes on the road, Kathryn sighed and pressed harder on the gas pedal.

Her dark black coloured porche sped up without a stutter of the engine.

Zachary Jay.

She couldnt wipe him from her mind, she had never once set eyes on him in person, only merely seen his photo.

His grey misty eyes were the ones that were the deadliest, the ones that wouldnt leave Kathryn's mind.

Of course, he had no clue of the war that was going to begin because of him.

Because of his mere existence in this complicated city.

Jacob had warned her, a few years ago when she had successfully stole a large amount of money from a very important gang member in Miami.

'New York is like death. You dont exist. You are a speck of life that dances completely clueless about what will await you.'

His words were life lessons, everything he said was a warning, or a quote, or a teaching.

Less than a hour ago, she was in the motel unafraid, prepared with whatever the world threw at her, but now ...

She was so close to finding him, to take him away from New York and send him on a plane to Austrailia.

Anywhere away from Lou Myers.

Kathryn shivered even thinking about his name.

Lou Myers was dangerous. He was a drug supplyer, a weapon supplyer, a kidnapper and a killer.

Not accidental.

Pure hatred toward an innocent citizen. Shot dead at the stroke of nine on a rainy night.

She had two children that had also been killed that night.

Lou got whatever he wanted when he simply requested it.

And he wanted Zachary Jay.

***

The file was practically begging her to open it, it was time to anyway.

So, with a sigh, Kathryn scimmed her fingers gently over the cover and silently opened it to the first page.

Of course, there was his photo. His grey eyes looking straight at the camera, his dark brown hair was messy. His expression was baffled.

His skin was flawless and Kathryn couldnt help herself but think about him.

But it was only for a second before her brain took over her heart, the serious side to the mission.

Find Him.

She turned a few more pages and reached one she was satisfied with, it was covered in past addresses and phone numbers. Old girlfriend names and numbers.

Kathryn smiled slightly as she turned another page she found quite humourous.

His whole life was on this page, his past pets, his now deceased family, his old school.

His date of birth was on this page, along with his height, weight, sexual status.

He has been watched by many gang members at the age of 2.

He was now 22. 20 years of never having privacy nor freedom.

His family had died when he was 17. Lou needed them out of the way. Of course there was a huge debate between Lou and the other gang leaders. Some of them wished them to live longer with him, others sided with Lou and decided it was now time for him to witness his family's car accident.

It was perfectly morbidly planned.

Horribly set up, for a teenager to watch his mother, father and two sisters burn in a fire, they could not escape from.

Lou celebrated along with the other leaders, but Jacob was furious.

Zachary's present address was a quiet road in the suburbs of New York, he was being watched right now by Jacobs crew, Lou's and Ryans.

Ryan Tram.

A low class leader with hardly any reputation.

Kathryn wasnt bothered by him, she was more worried about Lou's reaction when he discovered she was there to take him away.

Lou wanted to continue to torment this young man until he was no longer alive.

And what had he done?

He was only born. That was his only mistake.

Now every gang leader wants his life, and Kathryn willstop at nothing, to save him.

Hey there, I'm gonna try and be your reviewer! Dun, dun, dun. Anyways!

Lou Myers was dangerous. He was a drug supplyer, a weapon supplyer, a kidnapper, and a killer.

You need to separate each description of Lou Meyers. Where it's needed is bolded. Did you notice? Oh, and also, you spelled supplier wrong. The mistake is also bolded.

His skin was flawless and Kathryn couldnt help herself but think about him.

Couldn't should have an apostrophe, just like I put it (:

Now every gang leader wants his life, and Kathryn willstop at nothing, to save him.

Probably a typo, but you forgot to separate will from stop.

Overall, what a cliff hanger ending! I can't wait to read more, your writing is really good.

PM me if more is already up!
