Rowan Continued

The car comes to a s stop, and Beth jumps out.

Stan follows her a moment later.

Sure enough, the cat is lying motionless on the roadside.

He glares weakly at them and hisses.

"Here, cat. Nice kitty." Beth stoops down reaches a hand out.

"Here, cat-- ow! He scratched me."

"A fighter, then. Get the blanket from the car; I'll stay

with him." Stan doesn't take his eyes off the animal.

Minutes later, Beth returns with a hand-stitched quilt.

It's a present from a mutual friend.

"Good; give it to me." Deftly Stan bundles the cat up.

Its squalled protests make them both wince.

Um.. thanks for the review?

All of your semi-colons are unnecesary, just so you know.

Also, I'd pick cooler names. Stan and Beth are kind of boring. Also, whats their relationship? Are they friends? hmm. Take the contractions out of this too. Contractions have no place in formal writing.

Cheers,
