Been staying up late at night
Trying to keep your flame alight
But then it comes into my mind
Maybe it's time
To take the easy path
Death,the easy path
Maybe I should keep my promise
After now the if is the lose
Said I would die if I lost you
Well,I did lose you
So take the easy path
Death is the easy path

I do hope that this isn't real . . .
The whole title made me interested. And I love poetry, so I was definitely going to read this.
I like this part. I don't know why lol but it stuck out to me in a way.
It's perfect for a broken heart or just the fact of losing someone.
I feel like this might be too repetitive. But that's just me. Maybe if you had a different line in it and then had the other so like a sandwich example of what I mean;
So take the easy path
(Another line)
Death is the easy path
I liked how calm this sounded which only makes it worse.
This was confusing for me. I'm not sure if you were going to put another word or anything, it just didn't flow as much.
This was by far my favorite lines.
Keep up the good work!

the part that says After now the if is the lose means after now the what if is what I have lost
Mhm. And this is just a poem. . .?
Yeah. Maybe expect for the promise part.I did promise the girl I like that if I lost her I would follow her. This is just a future reference for me. If she dies then I'm following her
No no no. Please don't do that.
I said if. It hasn't happened. But I'm not the type of guy to break a promise to the girl I love.
Hey, I get that. I'm the same way. But the thing is did she promise you back? Or did you promise it in your mind?
I promised her,but I told her it after I called her my queen in scottish
I'm going to message you about this, so we don't take up all of the space here lolll if that's okay?
yeah
Hello!! am moon.
You have reviewd my works so am reviewing yours.
I liked this poem . I actually liked the repetition of “Death is the easy path.” It worked well for me and made that thought feel stronger.
The “I said I would die if I lost you / Well, I did lose you” line really stood out to me. I can understand why the speaker feels like death is the easy path after losing someone they loved.
I did feel like some of the rhyme was a little forced though, and I think it could be improved. Also, the “After now the if is the lose” line confused me a little, so I wasn't really sure what it meant.
But overall, I liked the poem and the emotions behind it. The title is amazing i want to say you one thing i personally love the word " death". Yeah keep writing!! Thank you for sharing.^w^
The line you're confused about I meant it to mean after now the what if is what I have lost
