Ocean Like a Lion

The ocean is like a lion,
roaring with all its might,
thrashing and clawing in the morn
and fighting throughout the night.

It likes to tumble to the shore,
a cub playing carelessly,
but it's also like the father,
pouncing, tackling fearlessly.

The ocean is like a lion,
always searching for its prey.
It chomps and swallows hungrily
while snatching you away.

Ferocious and yet graceful,
it splashes its foamy mane,
clawing at the sandy beach,
riding its dancing waves.

No, the ocean is a lion,
roaring with all its might,
thrashing and clawing in the morn
and fighting throughout the night.

Amazing analogies and rhymes! Perfect in all the right places. Never would have thought of the ocean like a lion. Keep writing!

Rawr. I liked it. Good analogies.

The bird that would soar above the level plain of tradition and prejudice must have strong wings. It is a sad spectacle to see the weaklings bruised, exhausted, fluttering back to earth.
